Resin Adeptus Titanicus is 100% dead on arrival for me - and sadly my entire gaming group (all 35-60 years old and fondly remember original Epic etc.). No one has interest in that material, particularly at the price point - shame as we'd all have jumped on a quality plastic starter box, etc.

As with most FW stuff this thread serves as nice inspiration at least.

AT will have some plastic - we don't know exactly what will bee done in plastic yet though.

The rules leaks for Inferno are insane. Constatin Valdor is almost primarch level. The Talons of the Emperor list looks scary good. Their version of the contemptor can potentially be throwing around D hits in CC o.0

Though pricey, you really get the feel for how powerful the custodes are compared to normal marines.

Has there been any teasers of BA units or Sanguinius?

I like the idea of a basic custodes HQ.
Paragon spear, cyber, shield.

2+ save, 3++ rerollable save, S+1 and AP2.
He's a bitch to kill lol.
Upgrade him in a 2k game for EW too.

feth Valdor is quite the force to be reckoned with.

Some other fun thought. TS have better swordsman than palantine blades. I'm also loving their psychic sniper scouts which give Raven guard a run for the money.

Both Russ and Magnus look like they can handle Horus which is huge.

TS also look like they truly play different then any of the legions so far. SW look super customizable with their choices.

Talons seem OP on the whole as they do everything and do it better for not much more points.

Well that's interesting. If I'm reading this right, there is no way to make the Custodian guard and sentinel guard squad option of a vexilla and warblade with the plastic kit from BoP. As there is no left hand version of either the vexilla or blade. The only place the vexilla and shield build from BoP fits is the Hetaeron squad.

So we still don't know if the main Titans in AT will be in resin or plastic?

No, but it would be shocking if Warlords aren't in plastic, wouldn't it?

I noticed that too. Seems to run counter to the plastic kit.

In fact, I'd put a sizable bet on it.

Given the shapes and cad elements, it would make a lot of sense for fw to make the Mars pattern titans in resin, they can just scale down the 40k ones, and then for plastic titans make the lucius pattern ones. Those are simpler in design, making them a lot easier to do injection molded versions that look good, and let people choose the basic or premium versions, and keep the almost as awesome lucius designs around

Shocking? No, but it would be disappointing. I'm really hoping that the success of BB along with the recent large kits for 40k and AoS will convince GW to take a chance on plastic Titans. If not the Warlord then at least the Reaver and Warhound.

I'm really interested in Adeptus Titanicus, but the potential cost of even the intro box might put me off of it. Of Course I do like plastic over resin usually, especially when it comes to anything large.

Has anyone done a page by page flipthrough of inferno on youtube yet? I haven't been able to find anything...a bit of a surprise.

Shame only 1 unit of sisters have access to the snare gun.
Even then only 4 of them can take it.

12" range assault weapon that when it hits, forces D3 strength tests.
Any failed cause a wound that ignores armour.

If a unit of 10 could take that it would be amazing.





My only gripe with the talon list is the custodes transport.
The lack of assault vehicle in an army that specialises in combat hurts a lot.
The sisters one has it, which helps I guess.
Just a shame the custode one lacks it.

This shows some promise. The question is will they make it dynamic enough so that you don't just stand at the edge of the board (or walk towards the enemy) all game while shooting?

It looks like the carapace weapons only come in pairs on a Warlord. Kinda boring.

Also, if it's 8 mm scale and a 4x4 board, it's gonna be kinda crammed. I would prefer much more to have a bigger table fro some more tactical manouvers.

Damn... These Custodians are too pretty to look at for my wallets own good. Any word on when Valdor will be released, or if he's even being worked on?

All the more reason for FW to hopefully throw away GW's pretty badly posed kit and make one with options that can make the actual units!

To be fair, I plan on just cutting the hands off and converting them to make it possible.

Much the same as I've started cutting the bolters off a few spears to replace with inferno pistols.

Quick question (apologies if this has been covered): with the event-exclusive Custodes, will this figure be available at other upcoming events FW is present (i.e. Adepticon), or is it only at Warhammer World? Also, is there a general timeline for how long will this figure be available (i.e. would be possibly be at GenCon in the fall?)

Trying to figure out how to pick this guy up without paying the extortion rate of eBay.

It's event exclusive, not WHW exclusive, so it should be available at all events, and it'll probably be for the year.
