Sweet christ, those helmet designs are grotesque. I hate the new power sword design, as well.

GW's approach could best be summarized as more of a "flying saucer" paradigm; if you imagine seeing a flying saucer it would provokes a "how does that fly" and inspire some sense of "awe." GW is relying on our willingness to buy into the fiction and that "it flies because we say it does." If you accept that fiction, these "poor" aircraft designs are suddenly marvels that in real life would be more startling to see fly.

Can't say I've ever wondered how one of these flies.

Uhh... can we go back to Space Marines?

Having got these already, it's the paint job that murders the faces. The bare sculpts are actually very nice. Whoever let the promo pic through just needs a slap for not getting them repainted.

Yep. Was building them last night after Ardacon. Don't know why the pictures are showing up so roughly, but the features are sharp.

I would know. I look at those slides nearly every day, waiting for the ing full book to come out, so I can scour each page with my eyes and sniff the binding.

Sweet! I have a use for my Vorax again!

Monthly instalments is a cunning idea, it would probably persuade people to buy some more of the absurdly expensive items.
Its a lot easier to justify £50 a month for five months than to spend £250.
I mean, its how we pay for houses and cars these days.

So buying a Warlord and paying 50 quid for 24 months doesn't seem so bad

More details tomorrow. And we all know what day tomorrow is...

Yes, it's called a credit card, and it's exactly what this is promoting, it's a feature of PayPal not FW/GW.

Why would they be gauging interested in the Paypal credit card, if it's already available on the Paypal website?

I wouldn't say it's answered. It doesn't state anywhere that this is anything to do with Paypal.

Spoiler:

I'm not sure if there's much to be excited about? That's looking about the right amount of stuff for an event, I'm not sure anything BattleBunnies can upload pics of is going to be much of a surprise.

We should see more works in progress - and it seems we're finding out more about that teaser video from Warhammer TV, so the two events could well be linked.

Me, I'm hoping for our first glimpse of Adeptus Titanicus models.

That's what'll be there to buy. They always show off more WIP/complete stuff that's coming soon (or not so soon in some cases).

If anyone can remember ask them these things.

When will fires be out? Earlier in the year there was talk from a rep of new Tau models we haven't seen yet. This still happening?
Will they ever do DEathwatch specific models?
Any new xenos stuff on the way?
Will the DE ever get anything?

Pretty sure they're already using that for The Fallen and Legion of the Damned at the very least. Check with the Ordo Chronos!

God dammit, why won't they release anything that's not Space Marines?

Joeks aside, as much as I DO love all the Legion releases and now Mechanicum and Custodes along with the odd bit of SA, I would like to see FoC finally released and some more toys for other factions.

I'd love to see Tyranids get some new toys or some upgrade options. A Forge World Red Terror would be fantastic or even a SwarmLord.

That said I do agree Dark Eldar should have more! Tau I think should have a break, they've actually got a lot of toys for a very new faction; in fact it surprises me how comparatively little Tyranids have considering they are quite an old faction. Then again FW has always had a bias toward Imperial and machine/human designs.

Something something STC, something something backwards-facing-tracks, something something total lack of suspension, something something no way they could all fit in there, something something 40k "physics".

I wasn't paying attention for a long time, but hasn't a lot of the GW Tyranid stuff ended up re-released by GW proper in HIPS?
