They could remove stuff that doesn't get used (sudden death, triumph table) and add in a bit more sophistication to cover. I think most everyone agrees that it's a bit silly for a unit on the other side of a terrain feature to not get cover when a unit inside of said feature would. I can think of some other simple changes that wouldn't step on any toes. But I'm not sure that would be worth a new edition for. What I would LIKE to see is ignoring the initiative roll on round two as well as one (tbf I'd like to see it gone entirely, but compromise and all that).

Well, it was like 8 months ago now? I’m pretty sure they were at least that regular for 40k.
More like 6 months.
But I'm really interested in what it could be.
AoS 2.0 seems kinda... a long shot.
I think people focusing too much on the idea of it being a "new edition" and not enough on it being a "revamped edition and a new starter set".

Well, probably less AoS 2.0, but if General's handbook was AoS 1.5 then this would be AoS 1.75? Or something?
More advanced cover rules would be nice, i rarely find that terrain makes any difference in my AoS games, aside from making it look nice.
I am sure they could improve on the rules without invalidating everything. At the same time, I kind of wish they'd put the strength/toughness stats back in, like for 40k 8th. Still seems weird to me that weapons wound on set values against everything. But that's a minor point, as far as I'm aware the current system works fine.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

I am honestly really impressed with the turtle - when I heard the rumours of a turtle with ship on top I got a bit dubious as to how it was going to look. But that is 100% a Warhammer world turtle beast with a very elfy "ship" atop - fantastic model!
I also really want some of those sharks - hopefully few of them can nicely fit into 400 points as allies!
If anyone is wondering, that was a Black Coach seen in the Death video. The curtains, the light, the way the skeleton horses are yoked - 100% black coach.
Probably Nighthaunts faction coming soon
