Interesting that there is a Kill Team battle report being done this week. I imagine it won't appear in the magazine for at least 6 months. Does that mean something interesting released for Kill Team 6 months from now?

What was in the White Dwarf for March 1999, or thereabouts? an old Jervis vs Andy battle report? Or is it just something that's been requested a lot?

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

With the initial leaks I wasn't particularly interested in the Nurgle kill team, by now with high quality pics they are looking pretty cool. The three headed commander and fish dude are my favorites of the bunch.

I'm thinking about whether it's possible to run an all Nurgling kill team. Or Nurglings plus the small bug stuff.

This is a tough one for me. As a very space conscious war gamer, I love the idea of being able to play KT without a ton of bulky terrain on a small board. I'm also pretty impressed with those RT minis. On the other hand I already have Zone Mortalis Necromunda, which I enjoy quite a bit.

And I really am sick (pun intended) of Nurgle.....could they not have made the mutants of any other Chaos god? Or Eldar Pirates? Or Necrons? Or literally any non-Imperial faction other than a Nurgle one? In the last three years we have have had: A huge Death Guard release, new Nurgle Daemons, Nurgle Terrain, Putrid Blightkings, and a Nurgle Blood Bowl team.
It's cool to see things without Space Marines all the time, but I'm jonesing to see some boring old regular old Chaos Space Marines (with new sculpts) at this point...Nurgle has been done to death.

Rant aside......I'll probably pick this up for the new low terrain Killzone and RT faction in a few months or so.

Also has anyone recieved a Killzone deathworld forest yet - is the contents as it says in the description or as it shows in the pictures?

Uh, I have it, but I don't know what you mean. Is there a particular part you'd like me to count?

The GW website lists the contents as "- 3 sets of Death World Forest scenery – 6 Eldritch Ruins, 9 sets of Barbed Venomgorse, 6 Shardwrack Spines and 6 pieces of Grapple Weed in total." which seems a lot if a set of "barbed venomgorse" is one tree and a grapple weed is a three-headed plant.

This is what you get

Yes, it's the same contents as the much more expensive set that originally came out.

To be fair with a board and a bunch of cards for Kill Team as well.

With a bit of LoS blocking terrain it folks a board quite nicely. If it had actually been the quantity in the description it would have been way too much (especially multiples of the ruins - that would have looked bad)

What I want to put on the deathworld table as a solid LOS blocker is a living pod like the one in Avatar.

Big, think treetrunks - three or four inches across - would work for that sort of table, I think.

People seem really down on the Nurgle half. Maybe I can find the minis for 35€ or so then, that'd be AWESOME.

I am getting the full box plus a second set of Nurgle for 35€ from a friend's box. I love 'em.

Congratz on the bargain!

I like them as well, but I don't want to splurge on the complete box with Orks coming up.

Looking for a Skaven Doomwheel banner to repair my Nurgle knights.

5+ armour is disappointing, as is standard lasguns - not exactly the elite super well equipped unit I thought they would be - I was hoping 4+ armour / or 6++ and a scion style lasgun.

Yeah, disappointed that they’re not equipped to Scion-scale but still, 36pts really is a steal.

I'm more bummed that the attack dog really has no bite. Poor puppy.

Also, cracked me up when they said that the unit will wreck hard units like terminators! Lol, what game are they playing that they see terminators anymore? haha.

Really disappointed. Was hoping they would be a generic "naval guard" unit with carapace so i could make a force of them mounted in arvus lighters

Oh well, think ill pass then

I was expecting better armour, but not better lasguns. The models are clearly armed with standard, Kantrael pattern lasguns, like Cadians. The only difference is the stocks have been removed. There is nothing unusual about any of the weapons except the rotor cannon.

Aw, when I first read the article there was a caption under the picture of Aximillion that read "13/10 best pupper" but it seems to have been removed now.

Don't worry, Aximillion, I still love you.

The Concussion grenade is quite interesting idea. and the Warrent of Trade is nice.

Hoping the Characters are well, a bit more interesting.

Humm, curious if anything from the nurgle kill team will be of any use to either DG or nurgle demons?

We already have nurglings and poxwalkers so there seems to be over lap there. The big guys could be interesting depending on their movement statistic and costs as perhaps more durable spawn. Not too hopeful though.

Yeah, I thought that was kinda harsh. I figured the death of the dog should affect them more.

Same experience here - someone's manager get upset at the word 'pupper'?

More likely they got pupset because that kinda thing is what a Twitter feed called "WeRateDogs" does...complete with 13/10 rankings.
