Yea once I finish up my Stalker, I'm gonna do a quick dive into Mollog and friends, before I continue up with the spoopy bedsheets (I need to get the Chainrasps, some endless spells, and Nagash done for a team tournament at the beginning of June).

Yea B! I'm excited! The model looks gorgeous and I love TAGs, so this felt like it'd be the most competitive way to do it without getting my junk punched every game.

Finished the battle damage and highlighting on my Scarabs and Triarch Stalker last night. Just need to do the blue cabling and some touch ups tonight.

Finished painting some scenery for Shadespire. Now I just have a Troll to paint, and some display boards to build for Adepticon!

For sure! I've been working with a soft pastel palette for ... almost a decade now, so I'm trying to challenge myself to work with more saturated colors for my next few projects just to mix things up!

Lady of Anguish! Bless CC for this contest, awesome to see some of my favorite painters taking a stab at these gals

BAH creature Caster showing their faces again ......I mean good luck and win their money , they don’t deserve it any way . The colors are looking great so far on her, I know your facing some strong competition with their models from other painters, so good luck.

More progress on the Lady of Anguish. I love and hate this sculpt; there's a lack of sharpness to it, and areas of poorly sculpted "detail" (literally just scored lines in the elbows, neck, neck guard front and back, where the wings connect) that makes it just a nightmare to paint at times.

Need to finish painting the gauntlets, weapons, shoulder guards, and base, and touch up some highlights here and there (mostly around the head/neck area). Then play around with color tints to really add some 'pop' to it.

Brilliant work all around.

Lady of Anquish is a good looking model and I love the work you've already put into it. Looking forward to see it completed.

Spent a while last night doing some HRGiger-esque linework on the bone components. I also realize looking at the photos now that I mis-painted on the left wing-tip, so I need to go back and correct that.

Home stretch! Just some detail work on the base left, going to spend some time adding filters with the airbrush, and then final highlights t pop everything, and I'm calling this done.





I love/hate how you can really see the flaws in this close up, especially some over-paints in the wings. :/

The Giger-style was sort of decided half-way through the process, so I'm not 100% happy with parts of her like the boobs and head. I think for the other 3 Creature Caster models (and Nagash, since y'know..he's THE perfect subject to Giger), I'm going to plan ahead with that style in mind and create better patterns.

Giger-veins are a great touch, beautiful work on the chick. I've enjoyed seeing her jump forward with each post ... tho I'm still waiting for booty shots

That is a lovely piece. The bone additions have really helped add intricacy and interest. Good dedcision.

I'm almost done the Lady of Anguish. She's been mounted on the plinth, but after some feedback from my painting group, I'm going to be tweaking some of the lighting, particularly in the wings, for a little more contrast. And I think I want to go in and add some WS Foliage and stuff to the base for some extra texture.




I also took a break over the weekend to finish Mollog and his posse! I actually had to repaint Mollog several times since his skin went through like 6 different color iterations that I wasn't satisfied with.















Slowly learning how to take good photos with my phone; I need to spend some time after Adepticon to properly photograph all my Necrons, Nighthaunt, and Titanicus.

I'm going to be taking a break from hobbying for the next week or so as I head to Adepticon in 2 days! I'll try and post pics and updates as I'm there, but that'll mostly go up to Instagram since I will not have my laptop with me!
