There are many miniatures I would love to own but are no longer in production, the entire BFG range for example

I would love to get my hands on the old Space Crusade dreadnoughts, they have a very unique design but are never available for a decent price and the large one (pictured) never shows up at all.

GW Australia also made 200 of these drop pods in 1999 that I must have one day. Unfortunately I was 6 years old at the time and unaware that I would need it...

I've got a sorcerer on lammasu that I'd more than happy to part with...

Always interested but as usual with these things, it comes down to price. There does seem to be some stock on eBay from the usual sellers but they are way overcosted, IMO.

They don't advertise it, but yeah in all reality it is, I got a hold of the inquisitor Eisenhorn gang of 5(Eisenhorn with staff(OOP), distaff, recording old guy, police old style(OOP), Ravenor prior to injury(OOP)).

Nope. They got a C&D for certain designs, lots of stuff that pre-dates or was contemporary with those is still available.

Haha yeah it's a pretty basic model, I'd like to try building both that pattern of drop pod and an improved model of the epicast model as well which I think is based off the original round Epic model.

I was reminded last night that I'd like to get my hands on some Warmaster High Elf Swordmasters, Phoenix Guard and Dragon Princes. And the metal units released for battle of the Five Armies. they're like rocking horse poo, though. :(

Some nice model of a 40k Battleship, ideally a whole fleet based on my fan lore. A battleship, a dozen cruisers, and a horde or escorts.

I already did some steps towards acquiring one, though.

I really prefer the Chaos Mammoth to the stupid tentacled spikebeasts GW gave Chaos. It's such a comparatively subdued design.

Rather annoyingly, I have some of my holy grail minis in my sights in ebay right now and I'd love to talk about them but I really don't want anyone else to notice the auctions right now so I actually have a chance at getting them at below their current inflated market value. :-P

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Frostgrave

The Battle Of The Five Armies game. I wish I'd bought it whilst GW still stocked the specialist games, I just can't justify the resale prices now.

(I can probably re-make it for half the price using something like Kallistra 10mm fantasy, to be fair.)

Well, since I just lost the auction...

The Armorcast Baneblade and/or Shadowsword. They're crude and ugly, but I'd love to convert one to a more modern aesthetic.

Ah, the Mission Dreadnought "Super Dreadnought"( he was a "MK 8" or something ). Which came with a second normal size dreadnought. He was ridiculously powerful and quite a large gaming piece. The standard dreadnought was amazing enough, but that dude...omg, hes was like overkill!

Just giving him a google and noticed the normal SC dreads would be ideal as Warhounds in Adeptus Titanicus...

Casual gaming, mostly solo-coop these days.

I've never really played Mordheim so I might misremember, but doesn't it have facings and base to base placement/positioning on the correct facing for combat? I can imagine that model is at least a little inconvenient

The Super-Detailed version of the Baneblade is actually quite a nice kit. I'd put it on par with the resin FW Baneblade. Change it up to modern weapons combos and it still holds up.

Indeed it is. And it's miles and miles rarer than the original. I think the price difference must have been substantial since the super-detailed one was so comparatively unpopular. I'm not sure I've ever seen one outside of Armorcast's own promotional photos.

Mordheim is individual model skirmish - its not infantry blocks, and that particular Vamp is the Mordheim Vamp, not a WFB Vamp. At no point are Mordheim models required to rank up they would in WFB.

Speaking of Mordheim, I never realized that I wish I had gotten this set:
