None of the subscribers for this received anything and they've offered the first two issues free as thanks for being an early sub.

Bit of a shame, basically the £2 and £5 issues if they’re doing the same as Conquest.

I’d love a full breakdown of issues at some point, as it made bulk ordering from FP great (one set of £5 postage, yet they sent all 8 issues I ordered individually as they released, at £7.50 too. Wasn’t too bad for when I got to the point of cancelling..

Sylvaneth: £75
FEC: £55 (plus whatever the character will cost)
Orruks: £74
Khorne: £84.50

So nigh on £300 at rrp before paints and booklets. At £1.50 an issue over 80 issues that is £120 so there looks to be value in this option.

I have subscribed but first time doing so. Any idea how to upgrade to the premium one, bit of a noob question sorry.

I think that for their previous magazine tou had to subscribe through Hattche directly and there was an option for the (more costly) premium subscription.

I presume it will be similar this time around.

main downside is the need to contact hachettes call centre, which is an exercise in frustration at the best of time

Those extras are pretty good considering Conquests shambles..
So what’s that, after 28, 44, 60, 80 issues.
You gotta stick with it to benefit, but sure worth it compared to before..

120 Euro extra over the life of the sub. Looks like good value to me?

And that’ll be what, £1 for us? Or £1.50?
Either way, trying to justify me not needing 2 different factions in AoS, let alone 6 total that this would add

This premium decision hasn’t helped (originally I just thought it’d be rubbish like before so didn’t consider it).
FEC I already have quite a lot of, so don’t need. Sylvaneth I’m liking the look of, Orruk you don’t get a lot there, then the Khorne is quite a random bunch of things..

It’s going to be £760 for all 80 issues on premium I think, so the deal is good, just a tricky decision particularly as no one is playing AoS around here, and I just had my second son arrive last week so money isn’t exactly going to be laying around..

Not particularly interested in anything in the premium sub, but it's good value for a change.

I pre-ordered three copies of issue one from Forbidden Planet so that will give me 40 chain rasps to play with. I don't know how viable they are but they're just cool models.

I am gonna try and pick them up from the local stores day one.
But the £6 postage on them takes away the deal a bit if I got 3 or so.
(Not that £4 isn’t still great, but I’d be getting them for the sake of it.. not because I Need/Want to have them)

Thanks for doing the maths (and posting it). I've been mulling over if I want to go for this. Two armies plus terrain and paints and all its an outstanding deal; but at the same time the sane part of my mind says that the bits I'd really want and make use of (terrain and paints) I can get for less than £760; and in the end whilst they are two awesome looking armies I'm really not in the market for more AoS armies. I've got Reapers and Slaanesh and Daughters of Khaine. It's not just that I don't "need" more its that I really don't have the time for more.

Makes me happier to decide to pass on this and not add to my mountain of plastic.

Forbidden Planet has the contents of the first four magazines.

For the moment we don’t know. Maybe those that did conquest could say what issues they got the big vehicles, but even then that’s an educated guess

Wow. Those Premium extras are bloody good.
Certainly seem a lot more worthwhile than some cards repeating the rules in the magazine and some cardboard boxes. Conquest could have had some basic Chaos Marines, Daemons, some other Imperial stuff, or whatever.

As good an incentive as these extras are though, I'm not interested enough in the ghosts to sign up for a full subscription. Might try and get the odd one or two issues for interesting Stormcast dudes for conversions.

Just logged onto the Partworks website to see if there is any update as to start date after sending them my bank details last month...

The main site is still up, and it's not actually launched until 8th January 2020, so I'd give it another week. They've also appointed a new customer care company so a new portal website is a possibility.

Odd that they are giving a firm date of the 8th for release. There's no sign of it on the Hachette website and the subscription that I signed up to last year has vanished from my account.

I checked with WH Smiths about it today and there's nothing on their system yet

(but they said partworks have just shown up before and only been listed at a level the stores can see later on)

With Conquest I had to sign up again to confirm I was willing to go ahead with the main sub.
