The quad gun looks like it's glowing in that picture.

I'ts over-highlighted because eventually the whole thing will get a heavy wash in Nuln Oil, which will tone it down quite a bit.

It... pretty much looks like it's glowing in RL too.

OK, so maybe I overdid it a bit... sue me. I'm using the quad gun as an example for an article I'm writing... so the gradients need to be screamingly obvious.

The barrels? Bright red/orange with glowing OSL on the surrounding green bits as if they're red hot from repeatedly being fired.

OK... I jest. Probably just boltgun metal.

I've done some research on the glowing gun barrels thing. I get the impression that if you shoot the gun until the barrel glows you've kind of ruined the gun.

Thank you grrrfranky. Something got into me when I started the wall that made me really concentrate on it. With just one more part to do I think I can keep up the same standard.

I must admit... looking at everything laid out, I think this is the best looking army I've ever put together. I'm looking forward to getting it finished up. Speaking of which... work on the gun is progressing. Man this thing is really detailed & complicated. Hopefully a pic later on today for you.
