That's a whole lot better than my first scratchbuild Gits! Now with my nick it shouldn't be surprise that I'm a massive greenskin fan in all three main systems I play (40k, Fantasy & Blood Bowl). I'm at the in-laws now but I think I've got some ork stuff from my Red Krumpany here on dakka. Inspiration for what it's worth Would have provided a link but I've only got my mobilephone.

Thanks Gits But I'm terrified of painting that monstrosity I must admit. There's just so many details on that thing. Good thing though is that I can use it in regular 40k games now as a Burna-bomma

I feel ya Red. I procrastinate terribly when I'm apprehensive about a project. I'd say "just jump in" but that would be hypocritical since that's not what I do. I find other projects to occupy my mind until I'm mentally "ready".... THEN I jump in! Usually works out pretty well.

Back from the dead.

Now that Adepticon is over, I can work on things besides my marines... Have some big orky projects on the horizon, but first some unfinished business. Little stuff, just to tie up some loose ends.

Firstly, Ifalna painted these few grots and a very special squig for me a while ago. I just got them based up. Here they are, all ready to go!

I miss my squigs, used to have a horde of squigs, not got pictures it was pre digital photography. (feeling old right now) Must have had about 20, everyone used to laugh at me, until the squigs got lucky and actually worked and then they ran screaming.

The most recent if my Ifalna comissions. Boss Nazdreg... the original Bad Moon Big Boss. Here by himself and with his honor guard. You'll note a couple of guys in back that aren't in the same (Iffy) style. Picked those up off the internet, done up very old school. They bring back good memories so I decided to keep them as is rather than having Iffy re-paint them.



Decent group of meganobs. Glad 6th has been kind to them so I can field them regularly. Hope the new ork dex (whenever it comes out) does the same.

This boss is wonderful, Ifalna did a great job on him. Did she also paint his squad, or did you paint them yourself using the same style ?

I'm jealous, I only have 3 of these meganobz, and I love these models. The fact that they are more armoured than a battle tank on the front and almost "nude" on the back is hilarious. ^^

Iffy did most of them. The only thing I can lay claim to is the basing. I just came to the realization a couple of years back that I just didn't have enough time to paint all my figures... so I started farming a few orks out to Iffy. She's very good, paints with great humor and "life"... and I can afford her. I suspect she's too busy now to take on any more of my poor orks, but I'm very grateful that I had a chance to get some of her work.

It'll be nice to get back to doing some of my own stuff though. Have a pile of Forge World ork stuff that I've been hoarding for myself.

Ifalna really did do a masterful job on those Orks. I really love the way she paints green.

Nice little surprise today... finished up Ghazzy. I picked up this miniature painted several years ago. Wasn't a bad job but not very fancy and not Bad Moonish (why does everyone paint their orks so dark??). So... I did a major re-paint as my first ork project this summer.

Can't have too many meganobs!
