I found out about a really cool army idea at my local games workshop, and will make a new style for me orks.
further development into Da Huvverurz will come later but I bought kaptin badrukk as a base for Gurk, da boss
I started by removing the pipe of the gun and the left arm, as they will be replaced, and put the sword, head and bosspole in the bitzbox.
so now I'm not sure about what kombi weapon i should use? a rokkit or skorcha?
on other perspectives i will make a nice army cap or another armyish hat.
( the bosspole and head i dont want, so if you do, PM me )

*Double post*

So progress went fast and right after dinner i finished the greenstuff on the arm and attached the head and bosspole, that i made out of a bosspole, a blastshield and plasticard I will now make the cap and post it later or tomorrow.
i left the space beneath the shoota and i'm still considering what to put there, a skorcha is good for assaulting, but the rokkit got ap 3 and that is good for killing marines and such, and with s8 it can instant kill a regular sm commander

Looks cool mate! great idea for the base. And as for what weapon, i would go with the Rokkit luncha so that you can get a tank or something out biggish out of the way.

There now i finished the gs on da boss and he's ready to be painted as soon as i can base him, or i could start anyways, i leave that decision to you folks.
i gave him a little hat, cant remember the name of it, an a bag beneath his feet instead of a box of empty teef
So the boss of da huvverurz is nearly complete in the building stage and soon the painting will begin.

Extra note! i also added a small sguigarette (cigarette) that my pal noted would fit his style, pics on that next update

Yes you may
Well the fluff for da huvverurz is still wip but i can tell you what i have in mind.
the army is going to be based on strikeforces, including trukks and wagons to take me boyz quikly forward and maybe custom lootas giving them covering fire.
there will also be 1-2 units of kommandos waiting to pop up behind the enemies, killing bigger meaner guns, and thus supporting the boyz as well.

So the fluff is a Blood Axes/Deff Skulls kinda army with a tactical boss, known to be smarter than the average mek, that have maneged to keep flying or skimmering vehicles in the air and made an air based attack force called da Huvverurz
there will be a mek or two in the army to represent the deff skulls

Heh love the GS hat. Great work on giving a whole new feel to a model with some smaller sized tweaks to them.
I'm just hoping you decide to "hat out" some Kommandos or maybe some army inspired badges/insignia for a unit of Tank Bustas for their kill markings would be very rad.

So now i'm starting painting and pics will be up in a couple of hours!

NEW UPDATE!

I've started painting and finished the beret and painted it bright red, a recomendation from a guy at the lgs, like some commando unit, the first one to name the country get a cookie
the metal is also finished and i'm starting on the camo that will be on his shoulders, ignore the loincloth.

Also the cape is done, thought it would look cool as he will have less camo then the others and stand out this way
when i'm done with this guy I'll start on my mek who'll be made out of the 07 games day orc boss

tihi made some camo so the boss could sneak around better!
da boss was happy to get his new camo sash and some atention for once
i have a test on friday so paintingwise it may be a tad slow but i do what i can and will hopefully post more pics tomorrow

and as a special note that now i got photoshop, i can make fun tanks!

Red Berets are the British Parachute Regiment (or Paras) personally I'd go for the Skorcha as he'll never hit with the Rokkit....
