The cobblestone is very interesting (you sent a small piece with the pillars), I think the edging might be hard, but it would make good change from the norm.

I like the cobblestone, though obviously it would need a nice fancy border to separate the 2 styles.
That stuff goes everywhere and thanks... I think

I will be edging the area of course I will be using the same technique I used in the graveyard
Thanks again for the comments and feedback,

Looking really good still. Is it possible at any point to see a show case of all the work for this board?

Thanks and yes I would be happy to, but what is it that you would like to see exactly? I have pretty detailed pictures in my gallery. I will take a better picture of my work specificly for you. Let me know what building you would like to see in better detail.
Thanks as always,

Just a quick one tonight boys! WIP Capital Building. Added a roof to the tower and details all over the place. I am taking my time on this one as it has become the center point of the city . I should have the water tower plant storage thing mocked up for you guys to see soon
The roof is still a WIP and will be trimmed to fit better to the building. I also textured the roof for a more convincing look. The picture is hard to see but you should get the idea!
Enjoy and as always let me know what you think,

Everything is looking awesome, I was dubious about the pringles cans but even they turned out looking sweet
I think the little chaple-like center piece could do with some gargoyle's on the roof

If you put some thin rolls of blue tac laid out in a grid pattern over a surface before putting on that texture paint you could end up with an interesting tile pattern - you don't even need to use movement trays - just card cut to size, as the paint creates its own raised texture to define the tiles.

Hey, I love the work you're doing with that center-piece.
Something I think would look cool and make it more grimdark would be to add some gothic accents to the edges and ridge of the roof. Maybe you're already thinking of doing this, but I felt like I would put my two cents in.
Here are links to two examples (I don't know how to make pictures work):
Example 1 - look at protrudey things on front of roof
http://farm1.static.flickr.com/139/352178188_cbd0070e8f.jpg
Example 2 - look at pointy things on ridge of roof

Thanks guys! The feedback is great keep it coming. So anyway I haven't had a chance to do much of anything since I started my new job. I did however measure and draw out what the imperial aquila would look like on the roof. The aquila is 2.75 cm and is going to fit perfectly! Please excuse the fact it is off center and imagine the brass etched beauty in it's place Let me know what you guys think!
