I actually like the not-Vasquez better than not-Ripley. More setting oriented in my mind, and I mean come on:

Hudson-"Hey Vasquez, you ever been mistaken for a man?"
Vasquez-"No, have you?"

Too awesome to ignore.

While I would be tempted to get the not-Vasques figure, at the very least to have an alt Reaver trooper, I think Ridley has the best versions of both normal and infected sculpts. Of the three so far, I could best see her infected sculpt hitting my table as a Strain character. The other two are too "zombie" for me, and look like characterful but still-generic type 1's.

I love how Ridley's infected form has the rifle integrated into the arm, not to mention the girl leering out of the chest. That figure as a whole just screams "wrong" to me, in the best possible way. While I would rather have the kid not exist on her normal figure, I'm happy with it because it justifies one of the best qualities of the Stain version.

I would love to see Jane with knit cap and Vera. He really would fit in blazing his way through the station. Though I still haven´t worked out how to make the knit cap work visually on a Strain version...

I'd have to go with the Original movie/Animated series. Maybe not Johnny Rico, but the Lt. Jean Rasczak played by Michael Ironsides.

Think of the possibilities in gameplay, the 5 special Vangaurd Marines tasked with extracting the valuable Dr Ridley from the facility.

Even before the Studio released the 'Ridley' figure, I'd decided that my Vangaurd would be painted up as Colonial Marines from Aliens. Its just a too cool homeage not to. I know there is a set of the Marine models from the film out there, but it would be cool if we could get them from McVey with stat cards. Please!

For clarification, you get the infected versions of the ones you buy. Otherwise you do not.

Up to $366k. A shame in a way, since the last goal was $360 and we don't have a new one yet. It all but guarantees a larger stretch before the next goal (is $400k rather than $390k). I wish they'd put two up at a time.

They did put up two. Check the updates. It's the Ramirez strain sculpt is the 390k stretch

Now we're waiting to see if they put up the 420k goal or not.

Maybe the 390k goal is just so lackluster, most of us forgot about it.

I think it may be a close call getting to 390K at the current rate, I doubt we'd make anything beyond that. Hope I'm wrong.

well its taking roughly 14k a day atm with 9 days left and from other projects you see an increase in the last few days so im guessing high 400's maybe even 500k

Yeah, without any surging and just holding to the average it's gonna hit almost 500k. I don't see this coming in at under 500k honestly.

Which is pretty impressive, really.

Zombicide made 390K in its last three days. Take that away from the 700K it made and tha tmeans that in 30 days it made 300K+/-. For this to make an average of high 400K/low 500K without a surge is pretty impressive.

There will obviously be more than a few more stretch goals, and there's no way it finishes under $500K!

Well in the last hour or two it's gone up by just over 1k.

Don't know, seems like it took ~24 hours to make 10k. I'm sure a few johnny-come-latelies will join at the last minute but 500K seems high. But like I said I hope it does!

With only a little more than a week to go, a few more goals would probably help.

Though I can see why they're doing them piecemeal, I'd be a bit peeved to see "what could have been" and know we'll never see it in the flesh.

Need more interesting goals to get a surge up, though. And I say this as someone who will buy 2 of Vasquez. I really think 2 at a time is the way to go at the moment (with 9 days to go) - get people excited about the following ones if the closer one is less exciting to individuals.

All Kicktraq does (more or less) is take the average per day to date and then multiply that by the days left so while it is helpful and interesting, it isn't all that helpful or interesting.

Good stretch goals will spike that thing like nobody's business!
