Mmmmm, I like all of the ideas! Pinning is a good idea since then you can use the "weedier" version, as you say, with your normal Chaos army.

I don't have any specific ideas on the conversions, as I've never attempted something so large! But you made the troll on juggernauts quite convincing, so I think with just a bit of converting on the legs you should be able to do the same for the one on Toad/Mammoth.

The chaos dragon also sounds sweet, my only reference point is the usual paintjob on Galrauch (which I have but still need to put together ) and the blueish/purpleish innards look quite good in contrast with the red skin.

Looking forward to seeing this! And "congrats" on ordering the Toad Dragon... that looks to be a pretty sweet model, imho!

I love it, brilliantly brutal. I hope your opponents are equally as impressed as they are terrified.

Those Troll characters are awesome and that Kholek Suneater model is brilliant. That Dragon Ogre idea is great but why go for Black Orcs not Chaos Warriors or Chaos Knights?

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Thanks Llama.

The reason I went for the Black Orcs was because of the pose. The Warriors would be very difficult to intigrate onto the Cold Ones and I dont think it would look too natural anyways (not that "Dragon Ogre Centaur" is very natural).

Ultimitely though, I got the idea from Daba's own conversion... http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/280082.page I just slightly modified it to my liking.

The level of detail is absolutely stunning...well done! I admit I did let out a sly chuckle at seeing the butt crack on the Juggernaut Troll - then again I suppose from *any* angle you'd be terrified of that monster on the battlefield Very clever uses of the O&G armour/weapons to create an element of 'crudeness' with their equipment- I've sometimes found the Chaos weapons a little too well maintained to be believed. Can't wait to see more photos!

Thanks! I'm hoping to get an update soon, and have been meaning to for weeks, but the memory card on my camera is broken and I just haven't gotten around to getting a new one.

I suppose that just means that there will be a bountiful amount of updates when I do get the memory card!
