Also think on the Landraider. If the lith gets a good nerfbatting, and the LR doesn't than LR's are going to be even more effing indestructable to those of us with no melta or lance weapons.

Well, as long as they are getting a codex. I'm afraid I'd probably break something if another marine codex comes out instead.

I am sure the codex was completed a significant time ago, and all rumors pointed to Mat Ward. I'm sure that hasn't changed.

I find it amusing that the Necron codex is gone while the Ogre Kingdoms army book (due out before Necrons) is still available for purchase.

Even small print runs cost thousands of dollars. They have probably sold out of the English Necron codex, but not the Ogre Kingdoms book. Why spend the money to stock up on a book that is going to be replaced in a few months? Why pull a book off the shelves if some un-connected sucker just getting into the game might buy it?

The codex is still available in german.

Well personally, the Dark Eldar codex was fine imo, and Matt ward didn't have anything to do with it *which is why it was fine* ... So as long as he's more then 6 million miles away from it, we should all have a nice new codex to look foreward to *i used to collect necrons... but they met an untimely end falling off of my cupboard...sad times...*

As for SoB, if Ward is doing their codex, expect less awesome sisters and likely a super happy, not-at-all winged saint who fights with a large rubber mallet instead of a frikkin awesome flaming sword, and cries like an emo when chaos doesnt want to play jump rope with her.... that or a male saint, which would ruin the fluff.

Rumour has it that Necrons will be able to have Blood Angles as allies. This will then get removed when the Necrons get a WD dex 10 years later.

P.S. still a little annoyed about the Sister codex.

Just had another look on GW UK Site and everything is still available (apart from the codex).

Hopefully, we will get some scans from this months WD and and we can possibly know if the Necrons are coming out in October or not.

When is the new White Dwarf out in the UK? 25th August?

It was rumoured that they would be out on All Souls Day, which is November 2nd this year, so we may not see anything in the new WD. Maybe a back page teaser? I would be happy with that to be honest, at least it would be confirmed.

Looking at the recent 'Flyer for every army' trend is it likely that one of the light vehciles will be some sort of Cron fighter from Battle Fleet Gothic?

Early November release is closer to Halloween than early October, which supports early rumors of that time frame. That having been said I wish we'd have gotten them in August! I need new rules for my shiny metal robotz.

As for Ward, if memory serves, rumors were that he was writing the codex but with others helping out. I think I read once that he is writing the rules while others take care of the fluff. So who knows, maybe it will not be ALL bad...

As independent stockists we haven't been able to order any Nec stuff through GW for nearly two months, I'm thinking late September early November.

If I knew there were New Necrons at GD UK I would buy a ticket just for that.

Although it saddens me that the Necrons will not likely be out until November. It also is a happy day as this also means I can save up my pennies so that on pre order I will be able to order an army of troops and the new codex. Just curious if the rumors are true that they intend to make the flayed ones no longer a part of the elites and move them to just regular troops??
