@Rawson, great idea! I can see it as pivotal in a campaign too, whoever controls the gun at the end of game 1 gets a free Deathstrike blast in the second game, etc.

I love it - 1:32 scale stuff is generally too big, but in this case it makes the model even better.

Yeah, been thinking about that. Or what if there was a ladder there and he had one foot on the rung? I can replace the pointing hand with a gripping hand, either gripping the carriage frame or the ladder.

^ do that, it would make the most sense with the peice, other wise its just like theres a guy on a skull pointing for some odd reason

I kind of like the pointing, makes it seem more dynamic. They are stealthy, so they are using hand signals to communicate!

Yeah, and they are artillerymen working the big guns too, so they are probably deaf! lol

Crew conversion #3 done, and the ladder idea from earlier, but I compromised by leaving the pointing finger,


The guy on the other side, I'm not sure what he is doing, but then if you look at the loaders in the video from the real thing, I'm not sure what the guy over there is doing either, so it looks right IMO

Amazing; yet again! Are you using -I can't tell atm- the plastic catachan squad or the command squad for the models? I can see some of the heavy weapons crew but can't put my finger on the other parts.

I am using parts from Every Catachan Sprue ever made man! Originals, Command squads, and HWT. Because open right hands are so damn rare, I am even using some dwarf hands for those.

Although the ammo hoist is powered by the hydraulics, the hoist can be operated by hand for greater control.

the hand cranker looks cool, and i dont think ive said this before but i really like the catachan who is holding onto the pipe in the very left of your last pic
