Decided to put off the Ymgarl's for another day. However I did clean up and assemble an entire dev squad and an AoBR captain for him to paint. I actually looked at 4 different hobby stores for the Dev squad he wanted but no one had one, so I dug though my stuff and managed to cobble together a full squad with sergeant... plus the cappy for good measure. That should keep him entertained for a while.

We pretty much had a perfect Christmas morning here. 4" of fresh powder last night, tons of presents to open, fire in the fire place... no where to go. Hard to beat that on a fine Christmas morning.


I scored some great Kromolech swag. Unfortunately what got sent wasn't *quite* what was ordered... but I'm sure we can sort that out. The quality of what came was top notch though. I just love their work... especially their orks.

Thing 2 got his Devs, Thing 1 a box of Tomb Blades. So we all had a wee bit of 40k in our Christmas! This is the first year in a while I didn't paint anything for them... but they didn't seem to mind and Thing 2 is really jazzed about his space marine scheme... no complaints from me!

Well, I did actually get some work done on Christmas day. The kids were busy playing with their toys and my wonderful wife was snoozing on the couch. With Dr. Who on the telly all day I toiled away and just about finished all my GK terminators. Just need to do their eyes. Hope to have a pic for you tonight.

Boy... this army is getting close to being finished up. Kind of exciting actually.

Finally finished the GK terminators / paladins. Shame... the technique I used on the eyes looks really good IRL but doesn't show up at all in the photograph.
