Lookin' good! Don't worry about the freehand, you can clean it up if you want or I'll do it if it bothers me when I get it.
I'll try to finish your Warpcrafter one of these days (pretty much only needs basing)

Come up with a name for him yet?

Schanks Ta-ork, as previously described:

And, as not to be defeated by the color white (though still was a bit on the face. grrr) I did Hemingway's Mentor. I'm pretty happy with it over all. It is a custom robe that I got from a fellow GMS'er Porkuslime. I thought it would be most appropriate for it to be used in trade. 1st pic is really blurry, sorry.

Is that 'The List' on his backpack, does it say whether I've been naughty or nice this year?

@whale go ahead and base him. I like everything to be done by the creator of the model. Makes it more unique. Yours is almost done. Have been away for the past 2 weeks but back now. Just got the Power Sword to finish and the base and your all set. I'm thinking about mailing him unatached to the base cause I dont think it will make it while being shipped. Live the Ta-ork. The skin is beautiful.

Oops, I mailed him this morning, and for some reason Im pretty sure I left the base completely out of the package. I can do one and send it to ya, I think I was just pissed at the guy for ruining my white idea. I dont think white will work well for orks, you need more hard surfaces, like on Tau or SMs.

Oh and lenny, your name is on the top of the list.

Hey Whale, have you tried going with an Astronomicon Grey base coat and then a dirty wash of badab black? This will give a dirty white.....then you could give a couple of highlight coats where needed with Astro Grey and even white. It wouldn't be a stark white but it would be ok for Orks. It's how I do my white shirts for my army.

Thats what I did for the Tau gun he has (plus a Devlin wash on top, it was to clean). It came out pretty good. The white was just too white.

I build up the white on my Orks from Calthan Brown, gives it a dirtier look - if that helps...

Meh, to late now. I came up with an alternative paint pattern.

And thanks sander. I assume you meant mine as they are the ones on this page. But I'd recommend looking though the other pages. Many of our GM(O)S'ers are much better then I.

And lenny, I need addy still. I put the 2 sets of spare Storm Bolters in there (had to use one I had, forgot I was painting red stuff to now).

This can't die yet!! I still have marines to send!

Plan to send out Gitz, and ICeangels, and MonkeyTrolls, I had a few other things higher up on my list (Swap trades that were late gahh schoolwork and paychecks hurt me so much!)

but I should have them out tonight or morrow before I head back to BK (Brooklyn, NOT burger king, which I can't capialize due to the awfulness which are their commericals, I've seen them way too much last few days, they're killing me slowly!).

so on that note anyone down to trade, got two marines waiting for homes!

I don't think it's dying sage, just hit the point of maturity where those of us left have to take our time with the trades. I'm working on yours now & will continue to work my way through my lists... just going to take a while. The P&M blog updates have been coming very slowly across the board, so I think it's just indicative of the season and that a lot of us have other priorities at the moment.

Heh. Ive been gettin crushed by school. I think ive only managed to get all of one model finished (not even a marine! It was a blasted Cadian!)

Fortunately, things are finally starting to cool down (hooray end of classes!). Wiho knows- I might even get to update my plogs more than once a century!

So Im just putting the finishing touches on an ork squad thats been sitting in limbo since summer, then Ill get back to a marine swap or two. I think I have marines for Git, lenny, and vent on my table.

Finally some progress on Sage's sternguard... have about a shade and a half to go before the yellow is done. Not a typical configuration for me but a really neat figure.

Duuuude Git! Thats an awesome old school fig!

Whats the pistol? I recognize the plasma gun, but not the pistol xD
I do kinda like the Buck Rogers-ness of it

It's an old hand flamer. Apparently being BA, Sage can use him. I couldn't of course... would have to have modified the flamer into a bolt pistol but it seemed like such a waste to corrupt the original sculpt. Great skull head on the shoulder too!

I might be able to join in this epicness if the other person lives in the U.S. and if my parents let me. Also my homebrew chapter is pretty much the same as vent except the helmets are a little darker blue and they are called the Sons of Lucifer

Long time no update for me. Been pretty busy as of late. Was in the Congo hunting for snipes when I got lost in a cave. Next thing I know I'm in some kind of underground tropical paradise. Well long story short never try and break a $20 when paying for bus fare.

Well here is what I've got. More done on Whales SM. And some more on 'Da Brazen Klawz.

Unforunately vent our fluff for our chapters is very similar also, Blood Angels and ultramarines. i am realy sorry if this offends you at all. i did not try to copy you, i got the inspiration from the blood angels devastator squad.
