Not sure how the gun traversed but as said this is a 1/35 kit of a real gun. Maybe wrong but this one was not used to fire across the Channel.

back on topic I was also assuming this weekend would be all about IoB so the DE would have to wait a while. Hell's nipples it's been, ten years so a few more weeks won't make any difference.

And it just got announced this weekend at PAX, as Gearbox Software has been working on it for at least 3-4 years now.

They're actually even close to having it ready for release, too.

The announcement of a small 8th ed rules book for sale would be nice.

The only thing that would really make me jump out of my seat (and break my ever so knife-edge budget) would be a complete do-over of Warhammer Quest ala the new Space Hulk - so heaps of great new minis, 6 to 8 Heroes, new tiles for the dungeon, cards, counters, and so on.

Otherwise... what, Dark Eldar? Another bandwagon army for everyone to jump on? Yawn.

I'd love a Necromunda redux.

It's a real gun they used them in both world wars the biggest was called Dora look it up on you tube! The Germans used them on peaces of curved track that they layed just outside tunnels. the gun would come out of the tunnel fire then go back into the tunnel to be reloaded.

You've already labelled anyone who adopts DE yet you're hoping for an out of date and unsupported game to be re-done?

Oh shut up Kroothawk. Big announcements are meant to be just that - big. Another Codex in the cycle, no matter how overdue, is not big.

The Leopold was fired using crossing railroad tracks not curved tracks the crossing had a turn table for the motor unit to traverse on but this is not the thread for that discussion.
Waiting for the announcement what ever it is.

There are theories, that is the reason why this thread has lasted so long. Everybody wants to see what they perceive as needy to be updated. Just becuse it is wanted, and in some eyes is overdue, means that it isn't big? To those who follow X or Y race and to have updates IS a big deal.

BTW for you people thinking about the train, I remember someone (I think on dakka) who actually got a 1/35 kit and used it for warhammer

Frankly, I want to see High Elves updated with not sucky infantry plastic kits and not sucky Shadow Warrior models, and a not sucky Alith Anar model.

That would cause me to drop probably around $400 on the spot for a High Elf Shadowlands themed army.

Its almost ten in the morning here on the east coast and still nothing. I'm hopeing it's DE.

Normally site updated about 5PM in UK - thats 2 hours yet.

how about new necron information? their codex is almost as old as DE..by about 2 years. Although DE need it more.. DH can wait!
