Meh, just give it a few mechanical eye stalks poking out from the top... you'll be good!

Good addition, he suits the theme very well. Where is his right arm from, that's a highlight for me (much unlike the satelite dish, which I'm not to fond of)? And no need for a visible head, it's under the hood and good.

@Asylum_Inmate: Cheers! Thats a nice suggestion, but i prefer the more flowery language, the OTT use of latin-ish sounding adjectives!

@Baiyuan: Thanks! Its from one of Micro Art Studios' Iron Brotherhood minis. What do you dislike about the dish? I must admit im not too sure about the spiral paintjob, i wanted to fit hazard markings somewhere though!

Thanks guys.

Should have a bit more soon. Ive been really into Warmahordes recently, so this is sort of bubbling away on the back burner, waiting for my inspiration to switch back again!

The dish in itself is not to my liking I'm afraid, but maybe on another occasion I might have found it ingenious, idk.

WOW... You HAVE been busy! I'm sorry I haven't been by recently with school, new job, etc... but I'm happy to look through it again.

VINDICARE - That is a wicked take on the Assassin. I think it's a very clever take on the grimdark universe's idea of the rifle-wielding guy. I actually quite liked the tripod, very Robocop "Cobra Gun", but the new version isn't that bad without it either. Excellent work- very ingenious!

Titans- What can I say, I'm still waiting for these to finish. TBH, I'm more excited about the Knight Titan, but either one would be good, so keep it up.

Techno-Priest- Not really up on the vision of these guys, but I thought the arco-electoo guy was pretty sweet!

Sculpting Practice- Just got myself some colour shapers as you recommended. Excellent. I love them! It makes working w/ GS so much easier! I should do a couple of cloth-sculpting exercises myself for my PH 1K Sons army, but... yea... I'm kind of partial to winging it.

Anyways, always awesome to see your stuff!

@Baiyuan: Thats cool, no worries!

@Izanagi:

Cheers dude! Ive sort of run out of superglue so the titans have been on hold, but the knight is now fully armed! Not too much more to do now, will put a pic up when ive done a little bit more.

Shapers are indeed wonderful! I really need some new GS though as the hard bits in the old stuff are very annoying when attempting to sculpt! Doing things on the fly is the best way!

More soon guys, thanks for looking,

Hello again people!!

Feels like i've been away for ages

Me and the Gargant builder have set a date with the rest of the group for a massive Apoc game. We have a deadline of the 27th August, 71 days, away, but with my holiday to Portugal I only have 50 days of modelling/painting left (starting tomorrow, June 15th). Im going to be crazy and say everything i have will be fully built and painted by the time the Apoc rolls around Aaaagghh! What have i got myself into Still the past two days have seen me much more productive than usual so the threat of a deadline is working wonders, for now....

So without further ado, heres the list of stuff i have to complete:

(See Page 7)

So, tbh not too many models to paint, however most of them require a fair bit of building and are not infantry. We shall see how i progress!

For now, here's a few shots (will get daylight pics tomorrow) of the 3 Servitors i just completed:

Hopefully updates should be many and frequent until the deadline!!

Thanks for looking,

Vitruvian

I also like servitors, its kind of mandatory for an AdMech player!

Damn auto-append!

Working on finishing the modelling for the Electro Priest + Menials as we speak, stay tuned!

The progress has kinda only just started though!! I find deadlines are the best way to get plowing through your stuff, the more you have the further away the deadline should be though!!

That electro-priest unit is sick... you honestly could pass that off for an =I= Munda crew... the bases that they're crawling over... If I ever make it down to the UK, I might as well bring the =I= Men, perhaps to meet your Admech retinue for a few games.

Keep it up. My 1K sons and Eldar modelling time has died with new classes- I look forward to seeing your updates before the deadline!

June 17th - 51 days to go

List above updated, 6 Electro menials ready for paint as well as a further Protector.

@Izanagi: Thanks dude! I like a few of the bases, some are a bit plain though. However, ideas tend to run a bit dry when making individual bloody bases for a whole army! (*looks around* Whos stupid idea was that.....)

You're on dude, if you happen to make it to my obscure part of the country! Same must be said if i ever come close to where you reside!

Ah studying, i start a Masters in Chem in October, which is one of the main reasons im making this massive push now, while im not up to anything!

Thanks for looking guys,

To be perfectly frank Gits, neither do I!

Its strange what the mind comes up with after too much caffeine, ear-splitting dance music, a stocked bits-box and entirely too much darkness to be awake.

Ah, those late-night inspiration sessions... The libby I'm building came together somewhat like that. Ripped apart my old libby, stripped the paint... then started methodically raiding my bits box. It's a fun way to build though. Since he did his first kit bash... my 10-year-old is addicted to it. And you take it one step further by doing a bunch of scratch building too!

Id still call it kit-bashing, its just that my "kits" are anything in the house thats not explicitly used for something!

June 18th, 50 days to go

One pic in the fading light, very nearly finished the cc scouts (will get 'good' daylight pics tomorrow when they're done and based):

@Baiyuan: Hehe, thanks dude.

Btw Baiyuan and PDH have started a very cool competition "Pimp my wizard 40k - A friendly painting and modelling contest" and have very graciously invited me to join. Im honoured to be in the company of such greats as Migsula and CMDante, visit the link to find out more, should be a hoot!

Thanks for looking,

And the OSL's good too...

[edit= Wow, this "Pimp my wizard" thing is interesting!!! Just too bad I :
- won't get my hands on them until a long, long time;
- don't have access to my "how to turn anything to a Traitor Guard" bitz box until even a longer time.

Otherwise, it would've been "Dibs on the Tzeentch guy!" for me!! ... Or the Necromancer dude, who knows...]
