Your work is really good. I like how you pretty much stick to Styrofoam, can't wait to see it finished.

My cathedral is on a 1'x2'

I don't think a game board looks right unless is has some massive terrain on it. I have several Buildings on 2'x2' boards.

Very nice work here jabba Someone theth thinks like me eheh...

Sorry for ignorance, but how much is 1'x2' ?? I never understand...are that foot? or multiple of inches? decimal measurement are far way easier

Ha, yeah, 1' would be one foot, 12" would be twelve inches. Eventually the US is suppose to phase out the imperial measurements...
30.5cm x 61cm
and 61 x 61
respectively.
Your work mimics photos I use for building inspiration, very WW2 looking.

Ok that's a try....It was a lot since last time I paint!! I don't remember how to do it, ops honestly I don't like this scheme of color...maybe boltgun, or brass shall be better?

Wow, this is really fantastic! Can't believe I missed this before...

I think brass would look interesting. Or boltgun, to match the grey. The brass would have more contrast though.

Keep in mind that the brickwall will be painted in brick red, and the stone strip crossing the brickwall in white....I can't decide

Oh, ok. I vote boltgun then, I think it'll look better against the red.

I like the brass, it just needs to be dirtied up to match the surrounding damaged and soot from fires and such.....

Sorry I was gone!
I vote mass production with the lights

But I don't think brick red is the best color for an imperial city, a darker red, or even grey would suit it more IMHO
But if it's a mechanicus forge then RED all the way

Peace out zebra

Also, the wires could be utilized as a part of the scenery, so don't disguise them

@Atariassassin

Try wathever yopu want, so I can steal some ideas from yours ahah....just kidding, we work all togeter, my work is yours as well

@Captainsolstice & Vik

There's a Manufactorum as industrial building so it should be a mechanicus forge for sure, remenber that:

So the brickwalls will be red, and you're right captain brickred it's too much for dolls house for the paint I will need advices and tips 'cause really I forget how to do it, and I never painted a building, just miniatures...

Someone know if brickwalls can be painted with airbrush?

i think airbrush should work pretty well...tho it makes me think how you want to make the stone strips white afterwards... and if you just make a thin layere of mechrite red over that black primed surface a bit of the balck will always shine through...and it will look a bit darker and more grim that way...

My very thoght was if I should keep the space between avery brick black or make it white/light grey...what do you think?

P.S. You guys force me to panit at least this building without waiting everything is completely built...I can't wait!!

Another question: shall I put some details after painting the whole building or I must put everithing before? I'm not experienced in building

i think better to detail everything before painting... i think you might have glue issues afterwards...

and i´d go for grey rather than white... i think this would suit the theme better...and grey and mecharite red...that´d kick serious buttock^^

Grey not white it will be to clinical looking and to bright, the airbrush might work to give you a variant look, but I think you might want to touch up areas with a brush afterwards.

You could add some detail afterwords, but only stuff that would be pre painted and only needs fitting into place, places that have been prepared, I say this as mounting or carving detail after could damage earlier paint work.
