I am seriously impressed

Damn, what you did at the bottom of the big wall, with the exposed bricks...that is just gorgeous work! I'd like to see more of that!

Damn, all those spires and points are going to be tough. Full faith that you'll do an excellent job though.

Are all those bricks just scored on?

Hey, this is truly amazing, I wish i could make this...

I have an idea. You could have (around the town) lamposts or lights that are actually made with LED lights. You could drill a hole in the table underneath each lampost to put the wires and the switch.

Now imagine turning all of the lights off (in your house/gaming area) and the only light you are using is the light from the lamposts.

Thats my idea that you might want to use.

Great project,

MaximusPrime

Yes the brick are carved from the foam, it's not difficult, just veeeeery long

Epic idea!! I've got a tons of led from a broken christmas light, I just need to put some portable power generators around the town, 'cause I think there's no more power supply after the bombing

Street lights would be epic, especially if you modelled the power sources to look like local generators/transforms, hell when you actually started gaming it would make for cool night fights plus supply some obvious objectives

Amazing. Stunning. This is your FIRST project? You wouldn't happen to be taking an Architectural Design class, would you?

I know you said it will be a long time before any of this sees paint, but I'm willing to wait.

You already have the attention of two of the best terrain builders I've followed on Dakka (Dstein and Marty) or I would have shared this thread with them.

Subbed and very much looking forward to whatever you do next.

Awww shucks skalk!

When you get to mass-reproduction of flying buttresses, I am all over it! I have tried, tried, and failed to reproduce the curves, but I NEED to figure that part out before I die.

What? That Cathedral as no flying buttresses?

Then it needs them!

Flying Buttreses are second ONLY to rivets in necessity!

This is a theological and metaphysical proverb of course. Physically, the only answer can ever be "MOAR RIVETS"

the same answer can go for rivets as well because the best rivets are riveted themselves!

Beautiful!!

My only concern (other than the durability point already raised) is whether you can put standard GW minis in some of those buildings and whether they can see over the window ledges. Some buildings appear to have very high ledges.

Did you ever mention how the Admech skull turned out? We know that it went into the oven.
