OK guys, time for an update!

While I've had a crappy week-end (wedding anniversaries and ill kids are not compatible!), I miraculously managed to make some significant progress on the tower, filling some empty spaces on the pillars using liquid GS and rivetting for hours, before starting to work on shooting positions.
I've also quickly built a platform using a trukk rear platform that I initially ordered when I was working on the fort.
Here's the result so far:





The next step will be to finish the shooting positions ant to add a boarding plank for a stompa and a water slide (or a diving position above an oil pool).

Man, your enthousiasm made me start the water slide yesterday. Once the slide will be finished I'll build a scaffolding to support it.
I think it should end into some muddy/oily pool with a lifeguard sitting on top of a high chair and a grot in a buoy squig.

I think a 'drop pit". It's a fungus pit where Grots and Snots throw the things Orks "drop", if you catch the meaning. In the old fluff Gretchen and Snotlings used to hang out around the pits and eat the mushrooms that grew there.

I think the water slide should go into a small pool of water with squigs drinking out of the water and grots playing around and a nob chilling in a lifeguard chair. Of course all are armed and perhaps "defending da pit from dem umies." oh and you need a "no umies allowed" sign. Dis pleases da orks.

Its how i always play my orks. We will have to play, but i doubt i am in your area. Should see with ym planes...there is engine nosises and dakka is every other word.

I think I could manage to build a mix of these two options

Here are my first progress with the waterslide (and believe me it's a to give it a shape)



When the slide itself will be done I'll build the scaffolding and finish the tower. The pool will be the last step.

He is (or at least he will be when I'll paint him ).

I finally managed to get some time for myself and I continued to work on the waterslide and the tower.

1st: As Brian suggested it, I started to add some dakkas:



Then I've built a scaffolding for the waterslide:


And, of course, a waterslide is nothing without wa...errrrr... some liquid!

You are going to have the most awesome Gorkamorka terrain I've ever seen. The gunz are AWESOME and completely OTT, which is just about right for Orks.

Hey guys, I've almost finished!!!

Spent most of my day cuttilng rivets and clipping pieces of plasticard to give it a real ork style (and I've added a stompa boarding plank too ).

I know how you feel about the old cardboard terrain. I'd like to rebuild everyone of them (if possible)

Yep, I needed a break from my CSMs but I'll get back on them soon.
I haven't had much time for modelling or posting lately, but I keep an eye on the friends' threads and update mine as often as possible.

With Rivets, all things are possible!
