Esteemed Veteran Space Marine

My grey-knight chapter master wiped out an entire 1,250 space marine army, he sat around a kill and wiped out the dedicated CC portion of the army, then hopped up on a battlement and sniped a devestator squad with his psycannon. He singly handedly made my friend quit his space marine army...
I think my most awesomest death ever dealt was from 9 basilisks raining death upon my archon with a shadowfield... He died on the ninth shell...

One squad of Ork Stormboyz (With the hero with him - forgot his name). Plenty of open space around them. Deep strike towards a Tau gunline.
Scatter double 6s, hit a silo, and now the Tau is scraping off Ork bits and blood with giant squeegees...
That game would've gone reeeeeally bad for me if he hadn't lost that huge squad of Stormboyz to a mishap.

Hooded Inquisitorial Interrogator
|
Nathon leaned his cheek against the metal of his rifle, feeling the cold seep into his skin. He ignored it, resting the barrel on the edge of the half-broken wall hiding him from the enemy.
'Distance?' he intoned quietly.
'Five hundred twenty-three meters,' came the response from next to him. Nathon shifted.
'Wind?'
'Eastern, eight klicks.' The sniper moved slightly, his trained mind compensating for the wind that would divert the shot if he aimed directly.
'Ready.' In the distance, he heard the bolter fire of his brethren, and thought a brief prayer to the God-Emperor.
The spotter nearly chanted the words. 'Fire. Fire. Fire.'
Nathon pulled the trigger.
* * * * *
Even without the bolter fire nearby and the sounds of the chainswords of the Assault Marines, the shot would have gone unheard. The Wytches nearby would never know what caused the Skiff pilot to twitch suddenly and fall against the controls, driving the Skiff into the side of the ruins. The resulting explosion took out everything within ten meters.

Leutnant

Brother Techmarine Levicus Talmor of the Ultra Marine chapter lumbered forward, his Thunderfire cannon lost to the fire of the Soul Drinker's . he sought revenge for the lost of the machine spirit that had served with him for many years, had never missed, had never miss fired and now was not more than a smoldering ruin of metal. his eyes where suddenly drawn to the left as the roar of a Land Speeder was plain to hear. the dark purple and bone pattern marking the machine to be of the renegade marines, but what shocked him was the build.
the land speeder was of the new Storm design, and upon it where novices, the traitors where recruiting this could not be allowed to stand! though Levicus's anger was not solely shared by himself, with a loud hiss a missile careened from one of the combat squads, slamming on target. the Land Speeder whirled about wildly, but the crew had been well trained indeed for the speeder crashed into the earth nose first. the scouts tugged to get themselves free of the harnesses, bless the Emperor here was his chance to gain some revenge. the plasma cutters upon his servo arm came to life, spitting a pulse of plasma fire into the crashed craft, but to no avail.
his attack did not go unnoticed, leaping from their places the scouts darted forward combat shotguns at the ready, and with a well drilled aim they poured buck shot into his frame as they charged. he hefted his power axe, the servo arms whirling about reading for close combat, his body lurched to the side as his right knee buckled as a cluster of pellets found home. he roared his hate, but he never got the chance to right himself.
the pack of scouts was upon him, shotgun butts slamming into vital areas, breaking bones and rending him useless, the finally stroke came from the Sergent, with a well drilled lash the butt of the shotgun crashed into Levicus's throat, crushing his wind pipe, and shattering his spine. his artificer armored frame fell backwards with a dull thud, the world started to go dark, the Vox was alive "Brothers retreat, there is no honor in a pointless defeat, fall back to rally point alpha through gamma, Brother Sergea..." the voice of their commander cut short by a sound that could be nothing but a power weapon. looking up he found the eyes of the Sergent scout looking back into his own, the scout made the sign of the aquilla, and muttered softly "for the Emperor Brother.." then like shadows they where off to chase down the retreating Ultra Marines. death gave the techmarine no peace, only more questions, and he left the world with a soft sigh...
(this was the first time I had used Storms with scouts, thinking back to it makes me want to get a few)

Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

I think I did a good thing by bringing this thread back but here’s one. Centurion’s Guias and Marcus stood grasping there power weapons, amid a pile a corpses, their red uniforms and bright plate doused in the blood of their own comrades, men they had trained and fought with many times, men that where like brothers to them. All cut down in mere moments by the hail of fire from the foul ork xenos. Ahead of them the foulest of the foul the ork leader stood basking in the slaughter as his personal pain boy fed him and his retinue of filthy degenerates the purple mushroom in which they always dinned on. They turned to each other, each man looked in to his battle brothers eyes, and with a nod they both raised their sword with a cry of “FOR THE EMPORER" and charged the war boss and his men with an unquenchable fire in their heart. They fought hard their rage driving them the orks could not seen to hurt them first one nob fell them two then three it was glorious, like the battles of legend, but alas the war boss finally had them and he dispatched each of them with a quick slash of his power claw. After the long and hard fought battle, the imperial line stood victorious but many good men had died that day (partially due to the fact my opponent/friend thought boyz squads could have pain boyz) but amough the ones lost Centurions Guias and Marcus stood out and for Ten day they were born through the city of Rome upon the road of heroes held aloft by a golden dais. At the end of the trail they wheir taken into the shrine of the great and like the honored Marines of the lost sons chapter revived into a new life so that they may live on laurels presented for all to see to fight for the emperor for many centuries to come.
Sry if this is sloppy first time writing it this way.

Nids vs. Space Wolves.
A Lictor charges a single model with a pair of Fenrisians at his side. Lictor takes the marine as a casualty...then promptly fails all of its saves against the 4 wounds inflicted from wolves attacking it. Those wolves then proceeded to charge across the battlefield and aid in the total annihilation of a group of Gaunts.
Those wolves earned some treats in the after-battle campfire that day.

It was a sad day in the imperium, The imperial army had imposed a taxation against the guard for each lasround fired. As the Imperial guard roared their defiance A small force of ultramarines were deployed to combat the heritical forces. They entered combat with creed leading the guard whilist calgar at the forefront blasting away with the revered guantlets of ultramar.ten days passed and to no avail did any guard fall to the roaring las cannons of the revered brother mortis and the twin lascannons of the landraider. another hour passed and only then did calgar lead his team of terminators into no-man's- land. With a roaring battle cry they ran toward the lines of guard. as the grard responded with their own battle cry they ran at them their leuman russes decimating the supporting fire of the laser canon and the devestators. as Marneus Calgar stared a creed he let out a war cry and ran into the ranks of imperal guard killing only five of the hundred, in not millions of guard. as the guard called for reinforcements more and more guard came marching from some unknown tunnel in the battle field. Slowly but surely one after another terminators fell as more and more guard ganged up on them. after an hour of fighting Calgar was by himself, he looked at creed and screamed his name but was silenced as hundreds if not millions of bayonets and lanced puntured his armor. his final vision was the last marine devestators firing their plasma cannons at him, he knew that he would never make it.
five years later the marines decided to take matters into their own hands, Taking up twenty baneblade they fired round after round salvo after salvo at the tratiorous ranks of guard. but nay they killed none and lascannons silenced the baneblades, climatic explosions anhilliting the marine army. They called down an exterminatus on the planet and got their revenge after losing over 600 marine... a sad time, and all will remember when calgar lost to only 200 guardsmen.
Yes calgar is gone from my army, he was and at. he was surrounded by aprox 200 guard and 50 storm troopers. he and 5 termies died one at a time and I laughed so hard when I rolled singe ones each turn. and no I never killed a singe guardsman.

As my friend had wheeled out his Warhound titan intended to paint up a Shadowsword to deal with the thing.
I rolled nothing but 1's until the titan reached the tank and stepped on it,(we had a house rule for titans stepping on stuff)
destroying the Shadowsword, which exploded(x2), destroying the titan, 1 platoon of guard,5 Rough riders and 2 leman russes.

My buddy was running his Tau army, and deployed his infantry units around his tanks to act as close support. A couple turns in, My LRMBT fired it's battle-cannon and just obliterated one of his hammerheads. The thing exploded, and the resulting blast took out two squads of Fire Warriors, one per side on account of the way he practically set them up tight to the tank
His response was only one word, but it summed up the result accurately:
"...Wow"

The shambling, robotic dead shook the chalky earth from their skeletal forms as they erupted from the ground, the sick green of their xenos-weapons flaring to eldritch life. at the top of a craggy rise, Master Lyson Cu'Culhain of the Pale Saints Chapter stood surveying the foe as they made their slow progess, emerging from their womb of soil and stone.
he eyed the monolithic war machine of the enemy, a truncated pyramid of bronze and copper, as he toggled his vox.
"Lance stike on my mark, coord-"
Without warning, a spear of energy flickered almost lazily from the antique device, turning the Chapter Master into a cloud greasy ash before the rest of the strikeforce could react...
in short, my opponent stole the fething initiative and smoked my HQ with a freaking Particle Whip.
either that or losing an entire 1750 pt army to ABBADDON.
