Brilliant work. I love this thread. +1

Cheers for the feedback.

Size-wise is Ok'ish. They are a bit on the lanky side compared to a plastic IG, but as they all seem to be somewhat bent over/crouching it's not too bad.
The IG helmets made quite a difference. The poses all lean to the left a tad, which I feel could be rather annoying in a large group.

That looks better than some of the Military Historicals I see in modeling magazines like FineScale Modeler. The combination of incredible skill you display coupled with the amazing speed you complete your projects with is simply staggering.

In the realm of highly skilled modelers I think you are a card-carrying member of the Elites.

I replaced mine with Catachans at the heavy bolters, so I've been kicking those bodies around for some time

That's exactly what he is; stumpy little door gunner, was it the knee pads that gave him away?

Notice the slightly raised base - this chap is somewhat vertically challenged.
He has my favorite 'sense of humour failure' FW head; old skool Citadel arms with twin pack Marlboro pockets on the shoulders, Elysian bullpup Lasgun, Dremel'd out crew helmet and . . . that's it.

I got the bloke on the right to replace my below par effort at a dead bloke:

I'm glad you posted that pic as I'd forgotten to finish the Valk . . . goes off to dig Valk out of box . .

Just when I thought I was nearly finished . . Ramshackle games pull me back in . . !

I saw a couple of Ad Mech looking figures on another thread, hadn't seen Ramshackle stuff before. Ended up buying a few bits:

For resin minis these blokes are cheap, all the above was about £20. I've added a few bits, couple of head/weapon swaps.

Not sure if all these should be Ad Mech or Dark Mech . . .

Agreed, either way the will fit.

I just spent some time checking Ramshackle and I really like some of the stuff they have. I'll likely be ordering the Moleman Gas Mask heads and the Mutie guns. Thanks for sharing that site.

Been a while since had brush in hand, but managed to paint a new Tank Commander. He started out as a 1/48 scale Panzer Commander from MIG productions. A bit taller than standard IG. He's going to need a suitably large tank to stand on . . .

Mmmm, I love me some baneblade! Should you be painting a superheavy, I humbly request a tutorial! Without it, I fear I will never be inspired to paint my own!

Tank commander is excellent, the camo on his trousers mixed with the leather jacket makes me shameful over my own IG.

Keep up the good work dude!

Latest eBay find, an old FW Command bunker. It's missing its door and the radar dish from the roof, but it does still have one of the internal chairs:

I've looked back through some old FW catalogues and found it in the 2002 issue, must have been the first of the bunkers to get cut from the list.
I've cleaned it up a bit and made a door, not got anything to use as a radar dish at the mo so that will have to wait. Dug out some crew . . .
