How 'bout we don't quite count our chickens until they've hatched. We don't know how conversion friendly the Cultists are going to be.

As a Night Lords player, I hope the hellbrute isn't too gribbly, but the bikes will provide me with a unit or two, that depending on the next chaos codex should be pretty good.

So... a box of marines vs marines.

So lazy and boring....

I guess they can take solace in the gobs of money that it will sell compared to a Nids vs Dark Eldar box. I'm sorry but there isn't anything lazy or boring about Chaos versus Dark Angels just because you personally don't like them. Just as much time and effort go into designing the figs and molds of them as would most other armies and both have interesting backgrounds to accompany them. They also happen to be two armies that haven't gotten much attention since mid 4th edition model-wise. I applaud their decision as more people buying the intro likely means a larger player base in this shrinking hobby.

I bash GW loads for their obsession with MEQ's, but Chaos Space Marines are an utterly unique-feeling army and this box comes with things like cultists and daemon engines. It's hardly Blood Angels vs Black Templars, which I'd agree would be "Marines vs Marines".

These starter sets are always Marines vs. Marine enemy. Before it was Orks, before that it was Dark Eldar (I think...). Makes sense it'd be Chaos' turn eventually.

An army of 20 cultists with a mere handful of Chaos Marines is pretty damn close to LatD. Read the actual contents of the box (and therefore the OP) before you excrete such lazy, tired complaints.

That would be "Spielewerkstatt-Freizeitaktivitätszentrum". ^^
On a serious note... Hobby is a pretty common anglicism in the german language.

Is it common for advertisments in german to use the informal "du"? Our teacher in high school always stressed how formal the language is so that part suprised me.

No... It's not really common, but that's part of GWs "Let's all be friends" mentality.
At least around here.

It is common if you expect to talk to 10-15 year old customers

With 20 cultists, 7 Marines as support, and a Hellbrute/chaos armored giant thing, it's pretty dang close to Lost and the Damned as far as armies go. And you keep whining about stuff that people have said over and over isn't true. It's not just Marines v Marines.
Now Melissia, what I want you to do is look at your post. Back to mine. Back to yours NOW BACK TO MINE. Sadly, it isn't mine. But if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate crap it could LOOK like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You're scrolling through the thread, finding the ones that your post could look like. Back at mine, what is it? It's an interesting counter-point. Look again; my post is now exalted.

Anything is possible when you stay on topic and don't troll. I'm in a car.

God damn it, I can't afford this! I wonder how long it will take for those cultists to go up on eBay, given that there were many people in this thread (even just above me!) who seem to want them too.

Also when was the next WD slated for release? Depending on that, it might lend credence to that "25th of August" note someone just posted.

With any luck the loyalist sculpts can be awakened to their true destiny as Chaos Marines, I'm ambivalent on the cultists as it looks like only Nurgle (which I avoid) can do fun things with them.
