That's in fact a good thing. The more time they work on a game, the more bugs they will fix. And beside this is BioWare, if they know something to do right is to make games and make gamers to practically beg them to release it...

New news for Mass Effect 3:

- No new Romance options ( the one you have in ME 1 and ME 2 are the only ones )

- Biotics will be more powerful ( don't know is this refering to shields and armor, but still...)

- Shepard will be able to visit Asari and Turian home-worlds.

- Rachni and Asari husk will drop little husks when they die ( like the big Necromorph from Dead Space saga )

- Cerberus is trying to kill you because they are working with Reapers ( this news is very odd to me, but we shall see )

- Combat will be in new three-dimension mode

- Krogan husk will be something like Space marine Dreadnought from what I hear

The rest will be on E3 this year in late summer. I am not that trilled, I really hoped that ME 3 will come out from November to January 2012.... Oh well, we have Space marine, CoD 8 and Skyrim until then...

Anyway...for more info go here: http://masseffectclub.deviantart.com/blog/40384205/

I think it just means more vertical space. I think I remember seeing someone saying there would be more things like ladders, stairs, etc. to give you multiple levels to fight on. So 3D as in Z-axis not silly glasses.

Everything is better on PC. And before anyone says "Console controller better than M+Kb", I beg to differ. That's opinion, and PCs have USB controllers if anyone needs it that badly.

I think my problem with the Mass Effect series was I was grounded when it first came out, so I watched both of my brothers play it, as they restarted over and over and over again. By the time I was able to play, I had already been on the citadel twenty times already....

Anyway, I'm willing to give it another try, since it's only $40 for both on the PC, just waiting to see how it plays by DLing the Demo from Steam.

I rather enjoyed my Femshep Infiltrator before, wondering if I should do that again/what the options are in ME2 with that?

I think Infiltraitors got totally beefcaek in ME2. I tried one, and while I'm still more comfortable with playing a soldier (I prefer the direct approach ), the Infiltraitor was definately a great class if you enjoy yelling "BOOM! HEADSHOT!" into your monitor

Freaking Legion. I want more Legion.

"Shepard Commander!" Why isn't there an option to give Legion a hug?

It's personal preference. Any shooter for me is played better on PC. I love the keyboard and mouse.

It's odd, I flailed around madly because I am so used to TF2 with the Sniper/soldier, so I'm very twitchy, and it definately showed during my gameplay.

HAVING SAID THAT, one thing I want for Mass Effect 3 is Star Wars: Republic Commando esque Squad Orders; Point at cover, press A (or LMC, in this case), and someone jumps into that cover for you.

Seriously, why don't more games with squads use that feature?
Also, isn't there a way to play with a Xbox Controller? Do I just plug one in, or do I have to download something, anyone know?

Definitely freaking agreed. Republic Commando was probably one of the best FPS games I played. The squad controls were so simple, yet so effective and fun to use. I am surprised more games haven't taken note of it and tried to do the same thing.

Controller question: No download needed. Just plug in a 360 controller and have at it.

I know, right? It was do-able on the Xbox, why haven't we done it on the 360? It's something that was so simple but added so much to the gameplay of SW:RC. GAH, I need to "borrow" that game from my brother now...

Awesome, makes me glad my Charge Wire is only MOSTLY broke.

I would agree, but they really should add the Squad Based Combat from Republic Commando in. It would be so much cooler if you could tell Ashley or Wrex or whomever to advance under your covering fire.

Because that game was unique, LukasArts really work hard on it and they made it extra game. The only thing that was bad in that game was my blaster riffle damage. Ordinary clones need 1 shot from their blaster - and from my COMMANDO rifle: 300 shots minimum to kill one SBD.

Tell me about that...I enjoued in the fist part getting down on every planet and exploring it scratch from scratch...

In ME2 they tried more action than RPG approach ( testing for part 3 ). In the end they simply decide to mix both of ME1 RPG elements and ME2 action elements and put them in ME3...

Do you guys know that they have shaped ME2 by reading the user forums for ME1? They actually read all comments, and made a list "good" and "bad". Then, when they started working on a sequel they just took data from comments and shape the game. I didn't know that they have a team that just read comments on forums

I don't know if it was unique, it's just that it's the only squad based game I have played where its just absolutely delightfully simple to order your troops around. Gah, inspiration struck me like an anvil to the head, I now have ANOTHER game idea.....

As for that last bit, I think it's probably too late to start suggesting things now, since ME3 is already mostly done by the looks of it.

Very important question; if I play as a Infiltrator during Mass Effect 1, can I use that save for an Engineer for Mass Effect 2, or would I be stuck as an Infiltrator?

Morinth had dominate, a version of AI hacking that worked on organics. I was replaying ME2 on insanity with an infiltrator with dominate. Infiltrators are amazing for the ability to one shot enemies on insanity, since the ME1 "lock everything down and strip away their shields, or send them flying around the room ad nauseam" capabilities of the support classes were greatly nerfed in ME2 (I fondly remember playing golf with a mercenary on some barren rock in ME1 with my adept on hardcore: I'd use lift and throw in quick succession, hurtling him hundreds of meters, before hopping in the mako and getting close enough to do it again; in the end I got bored and shot him when fifteen minutes of this had failed to take out the last bit of health...).

Oh nice, didn't realise they went the extra mile and gave her a unique power, this engineer is definately going to take Morinth over Samara then.
