It doesn't seem hard to see with this other kits. Maybe Little Timmy thinks different?

Im a DE player and I absolutely HATED the old range, they look just awful, so to see the razorwing looking like that (exactly how I hoped it would) and not like even the slightest like the forgeworld fighter (cant remember if its called a razorwing) makes me so much happier!

There must be enough confusion that they've changed it, though. The link now says "Dark Eldar Talos Pain / Cronos Parasite Engine".

Yes, in the Spanish version they still haven't changed the name of the kit (it's only shown as Talos Pain Engine), but they have put together both texts and pics.

I can't believe I wondered why the sprues were the same until I was told this.

That's quite all right, I wondered for so long, I kept saying to myself: "Why are they separate kits?! They're so similar!" until I saw that it says they're one kit.

Kan: I do understand that, but I think having two pictures but listing them as "Talos/Cronos" would make more sense.

I agree completely. I held off getting Dark Eldar when I started 40k. I went with Chaos due to the horrid aesthetic of the old dark eldar models.

You appear to be correct, but the "more spread" set appears twice in the same picture. I think GW typically only shows the contents of a single box, so unless someone mixed up the models from multiple sets by mistake, there should be at least 2 of that set and 1 of each of the other two sets in the box. Here's hoping.

I hope you're right, the more the better! It should be the motto for multipart plastic kits!

and out of left field is my day made! wow. was not expecting this release for another week or so. not even an incoming email. sneaky buggas.

everything looks absoultly awsome, and ill be grabbing pretty much everything they put out. if the trend continues i cant wait to see the next wave of DE models....just and with the plastic talos/chronos it seems more likley to be getting plastic grotesques and wracks, as they share alot of simaler components just on a smaller scale.

IIRC in November the preorders for the second half of the releases were online the same day that the first half was finally available in stores, maybe 2 days later. So... In addition to that I asked the same on page 1 of this thread and RedS8n Answered:

Odd, I thought they were available before the first set was available in stores. I ask because I think I may wait to order my Scourges and get them at the same time as anything from the second set that I want from thewarstore.

I need SO much cash its unfair. 1 talos, 1 cronus, 2 squads scourges, 1 battleforce, 2 venoms, 1 incubi squad and 1 mandrake squad... total of £242.50 EXCLUDING the cost of that drop-dead-get-reanimated-by-the-haemonculus-and-drop-dead-again gorgeous razorwing.

And here's me wondering how to fill a 1000 point tournament list! Im gonna struggle with what NOT to include after all this!

Once I finish painting my chaos fantasy army, I am starting DE. Until then, SAVE!

There's been talk of an in betweeny release between this one and the next.

My theory is that the Ravenwing is the in betweener, followed by the Haemies at the end of June. Perhaps not what GW were hoping, but maybe they had to shuffle them around, not sure if a week or 2 would make a huge difference at this stage of the game though.

Concerning further Dark Eldar releases:
Keep in mind that the big metal/resin/whatever news will be released with an extra email newsletter next Monday. Until then no news on non-plastic models. We don't even have information of the GW release next week, that have to be ordered by stores on said Monday.
As Wracks and Grotesques are supposedly non-plastic as well, this affects the news on them, too.

Thanks for the info! Looks like we will have to wait and see until next week. I have considered just buying 6 Urien's and just playing them as regular hammies. I don't like the old Hammies they have on their site. They look really ugly and dumb. Urien, on the other hand, looks like one mean son of a gun.

Those Scourge sprues are -ing sexy. It sucks there aren't enough wings to do all an all feathered squad.

Looks like there is always going to be a short supply of Blasters.
