I just put together an IG junior officer with a powerfist out of nearly empty leftover sprues and I was wondering what "freebies" you guys have put together.

I built a ten-men Chaos Marine squad from leftover bitz and half finishes Marines.

I'm also building a couple of Necromunda gangs from leftover Bretonnian Men-at-Arms, Bloodletters, Orks and Cadian-Bitz.

With a large enough bitz box, and way too many impulse-buys in the past, there is no limit to what you can do ^^

My biggest score was an Aliester Crowley/ Uncle Fester figure from like 20 something years ago. Didn't even know I had it.

Made my Master of Ordinance out of the IG tank commander from a chimera accessory sprue.

I made a renegade Tzeenchian Lord Commissar out of spare spawn bits and IG leftovers.

its all about buying legs on ebay, theres always sapre torsos heads and arms so by buying extra legs you can make a shed load more models for pittance.
i made 12 burna boys and 15 boys by spending bout £4 on ork legs

I was able to make a Techmarine, Librarian two servitors, Chapter master and three honor guards from various spare bits.

Several custom Necromunda/=I=munda gangs. Plus plenty of extra Giant Rats.

When the Eye of Terror campaign book came out, I emptied my bitz box onto my 4x6 gaming table and over the course of the next three days made eighty mutants from crap that was just sitting around doing nothing. Now, they're fully assembled and painted miniatures that are sitting around doing nothing. On the other hand, my all-plastic Abaddon the Despoiler is in the display case at my FLGS!

Big Mek from loota mek bits and an AoBR Nob body, plus a dash of greenstuff.

A Wolf Lord from a terminator with lighting claws, Chaos Marauder head and accessories, and a Chaos Lord cape.

E: A chaplain from a Khorne Berserker that a friend of mine was tossing out, plus some Dark Angels bits.

A winged Autarch. Numerous assault marines and death company. A jump pack Chaplain with Powerfist. 5 Obliterators (1 I took apart again)

I got a sexy Terminator Lord out of an arm from the Chaos Mutations sprue, a spare chest, head and Chainfist from the Terminator Lord box, the body of the Terminator Sargeant from AoBR and a little bit of green stuff. I think he was my first total conversion.

Made a massive chaos spawn out of Chaos, IG heads, Ork arms, DE spikes and some Tyranid hands

Made a Veteran Guardsman out of a leftover FW torso, standard Cadian sergeant head, some Catachan legs and a bit of greenstuffing.

Now my favourite model!

15 possesed chaos marines, Damon Prince, 10 chaos Spawn, 2 vindicators, 2 preditors, 1 razorback, 1 vindicare assasin so far!

This baby out of an IG trooper, vehicle flair, pieces of sprue, and extra command banner, and scout biker bits.

Is that... a Grimdark Segway?
