Funny I saw that build on a Karthus once. His ult hit for about 1.3k.

Never understood it as the Archangel Staves don't really stack but it must be doing something.

Guess I have to try it sometime. But I kind of feel like a Rylai's should be thrown in for the slow just to see how it goes.

They stack, they each add 400 mana and provide ap based on total mana. The first provides 1400 with it's unique, the other three provide 1200 total. Together thats 2600 mana + 900~ for ~3500 on casters. Since it uses 3% of your max mana for ability power + 45, and that is not unique, they are adding about 150 each. All six items provide 790 AP +25% for 987. After that I think we may have done baron or something to get me above 1k, or I'm just doing the numbers slightly wrong. I maxed at 1020.

Looking over the item description only the boost per use is unique. Looks like I'll try out this build today.

Just tried it then as Veigar (I like this new rotation). But with some changes, they weren't stacking magic resist so the Void Staff would be fairly useless, which meant I went with Banshee's Veil instead.

At the end I had 1239AP (could of had a lot more but went after creeps to farm gold as fast as I could), about 4k mana, and regenerated roughly 200 per 5 (thanks in part to runes). My ult hit for 500 + the full Ability Power and whatever AP the target had. The main enemy was a LeBlanc with over 500AP. Thats a 2.2k ult, about 400-500 more than my max hp.

To see how much that is the LeBlanc had 32 kills while I only had 13 (but about 400 minion kills). But in the damage graph I dealt about 30k more damage.

Also if you one hit a LeBlanc the passive goes off and the clone appears then dies instantly.

With a similar build nunu can deal 3000 damage in a single absolute zero.

games should never be allowed to go that long. I did an all random/all mid game and I got veigar, I won the game with him.

It was a custom game I was trying out the build.

If I'm going well enough to get that build generally the enemy team would have quit or it would have been a really really close game.

I still have yet to get into working on my builds. With the masteries I mostly have my points in some of the utility stuff. And when it comes to purchases during the game I usually just follow what is suggested.

For quite a few of the champs the suggested build is the best, some need a few items swaped into it. There aren't that many which need a completely new build from scratch.

Ward changes sound interesting. Banksy's Deathcap is cool though. Even more AP then before.

Glad to see it gone, and the deathcap is going to raise my AP ceiling even higher. The new zonyas defensive item is going to be fantastic for singed.

really enjoying the nuke factor with Veig and Rhyz. Use the same runes, same build, same basic playstyle. Also, AP Sion is a hoot with Rabbadon's.

Then you'd probably enjoy Karthus. It's like nuking with them, except you can do it from anywhere and get their whole team.

Doesn't do as much damage as Ryze when he's on a roll. But if they manage to escape on ten, press are and laugh over all chat.

Nah, I have zero desire to play Karthus actually. I prefer the BANG BANG of Veig and Rhyz's combo.


Sadly, I have really been vulnerable to "DPSOMGBANGBANGWTFIAMDEADAGAIN" syndrome lately. Gonna tidy up a build with some mid game survivability today on Rhyz....get the "Uncle Rhyz" skin, and taunt people with phrases like "I'mma make it rain DOLLARS!", "Accept the truth of capitolism!", and "SPREADING DEMOCRACY WITH GUNS!".


Cause I am a jerk. PS, I also said something so gross in a match that it made my own stomach lurch.

Say what yah will, its kept me alive from his ultimate more than once. Its the best survival item in the game imo, but it is kind of expensive. <shrug>

Just started playin this yesterday and OMG why didnt i start sooner lol.

Tbh i was expecting something along the lines of a free Wow clone where you bought items to help ingame(pretty much perfect world international if yous have played/heard of it), how wrong could i be haha.

The graphics are really nice and i can play max setting with 0 lag(unless somebody is downloading).

Atm i ave both Ashe and Master Yi as bought characters, i have tried Gangplank aswell. Ashe and Gang being on rotation made them worthwhile to try and bought Ashe, after seeing a mate destroy with Master Yi i decided to buy him and try it. Done ok with him but bit slow to get items together, only had phantom dancer by end of the game lol, which i suppose is expected due to me being new.

So new champion Maokai looks interesting. As a now Teemo player I like the saplings.

Yeah, the new champ looks pretty sick.

My main is still Anivia though, she's god-like.

I wanted to buy the tree last night, but the store was down after the patch. I tried out Karma instead. She's... Neat..

Yeh, I've heard how she is sort of boring but interesting at the same time. Cool mechanics though I guess.

My friend is hating the nerf for Anivia, no more ult spam for creep kills until later in the game.

It's good to see that they have improved the bots though, makes the practice mode an actual practice mode and not just the stupid grind for IP mode it had become.
