Hi everyone,

I just thought I'd let you all know that those beautiful greens arrived safe and sound, and I successfully made the first master mold. Now I just have to cast about fifteen new masters from that mold and then I can make a production mold and start getting these sculpts sent out to reinforce armies everywhere

I had a little bit of a setback though - last night the pump on my big air compressor died due to a dropped valve causing a cracked head, so I'm using a crappy little 3 gallon one from walmart until I can afford a new pump when I get my next paycheck in two weeks. The setback shouldn't delay me too much - its just annoying LOL.

@ Space Corsair - I'm loving the female soldiers greens! They put the old Phoenix Gaming Club sculpts I was using for my army to shame. Please let me know if there is anyway I can help you get that project done more expeditiously, I'd absolutely love to help.

I really like the female commissar. She is not the Sextrovert commissar that seems to be all too common out there.

The female IG sculpts look promising.

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

I build IG...lots and lots of IG.

I just found your stuff last night, I love it love it love it. I kid you not when I say I want to do an entire marines army based only off of your female marine sculpts. I even have an idea for terminator girls (I can throw you an explanation of the idea if you want.) Hope to buy tons very soon, well, as soon as your wonderful caster-priestess has the time ^^

I'm looking forward to getting the castings of the female commissar myself from Jacqualine. I'm working on the female troopers right now for her to lead into battle.

keyoftwilight,

I'm not planning on doing any female terminators since I personally don't feel a need for it in my own army at that level of armor coverage

Besides, if I do female terminator marines, someone's bound to ask for female Dread's

Though the mecha-musume style armor idea you brought up would be cool. Though if I was going to do that, I'd rather just do a straight-up anime style pin up girl figure instead than a female space marine version

Cheers!

Hi everybody, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still waiting on parts for my air compressor to come in the mail - I'm getting ill with the company because they promised delivery two weeks ago and I haven't gotten the parts yet.

On the bright side, I managed to jury-rig it sloppy jaloppy style to work well enough last night that I can finish the molds this week. Unfortunately the cheapie compressor wasn't up to the task. I should be back on schedule and in full production mode soon though, so rest assured the casts are coming soon

Take what time you need. I can't wait to see the new molds! ((I'm likely to order a good number of those as well, though whether I get scouts or not depends If I take the ladies chaos or not.))

Got my order today, gorgeous sculpts! Can't wait to get to painting them and all.

Might I suggest an idea, of perhaps sculpting legs for bikers?

This totally made my day. I'll have to pick some more up next payday. Will the helmeted heads be posted soon or will those need to be ordered under the table?

Hi everyone,

We just upgraded to a new, awesome shopping cart system! The old link will work again soon once the DNS changes have propagated. Until then, there is an alternative URL... one of the following URLs will always work:
www.meowmeowminis.com
www.freewebstore.org/meow-meow-minis/

Also, Pretty Pretty Please with Sugar and a Cherry On Top, will anyone that's bought any casts from me before post product reviews on the bits that they have gotten?
If you post a review (good or bad - I'm not trying to bribe anyone) and e-mail me with a link to the review then I'll add your name to a list to receive a coupon code once we are able to upgrade our store account to offer coupons.

Thanks everyone! I've got to log off now and get busy casting more of Space Corsair's BEAUUUUUUUTIFUL sculpts

Sorry for the double post, I just noticed this question.

I can't sell those helmet sculpts in the store unfortunately - so they aren't official products. If you PM me I can give you more details.

Hey there guys, i ordered some of the female stuff from meow meow over the last month and i am happy to say that i am glad i did. Here's a couple of pics of what I've done with the bits, I've been wanting to make a sister army for years that didn't consist of 4 differently posed models and these parts have made it happen.
The package arrived within 2 weeks of ordering and overall the casts were fantastic. Thanks to Space Corsair and Meow Meow Minis, I'll definitely be putting another order in soon.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Love the use of the DE legs - they fit much better than I would have thought before seeing this.

I may have to steal this idea at some point in the future

Woot!

You made my day with your pics!

Those sisters are amazing! The idea of combining the marine elements with the slimmer DE armored legs and adding the robes to come up with a Battle Sister is brilliant! Brilliant I say!

The robes/tabbard really help pull it it all together wonderfully; great job on the green stuff work.

I got to admit with work keeping me busy, I've been running dry on inspiration for a bit now, but seeing your army has gotten my creativity going again. Thanks for getting me motivated again!

P.S. Great looking Space Wolf in the pic; if that's a sample of your painting quality, I'll be eagerly looking forward to seeing these Battle Sisters all painted up!

There are no words to describe your talent here! I have seen random pictures of your work around the internet, on chapterhouse and in various threads about female marinesfor example and always thought it was outstanding stuff, I never realised it was all from the same person! I will be buying some casts from meowmeow but it may just be so I can say I've got a copy of your work! Really inspiring stuff.... depressing for those of us who's limits are sculpting fur, but inspiring nonetheless, don't stop!

That's fantastic GS work Vrall. Looks completely natural and in-tune with the figures. Beautiful!

Very nice, though with all the excellent work on them I'd recommend drilling out the barrels of the guns.

I'd also say dry-brush the snow base a very bale blue-white (say, 2 parts white, 1 part ice blue) to give it a bit more definition.

Thanks for the tips guys, I'm drilling the barrels today. I've started to record my armies progression in a new thread, I'll stop taking up Space Corsairs green stuff page .

R'lyeh

question: I'm starting using some of your cast female marines for an army I'm working on but i had two quick questions. One, do the regular marine shoulder pads and arms work better or the scout ones? I did up a test model and the arms look a bit bulky. Second, have you ever considered doing biker legs? Most of my army is 30 bikers and the casts look great on the dynamic legs but slightly off on the biker legs. Sorry for the very specific questions, I love your works. I'll definitely be using it for two thirds of my armys
