Heh plenty at both Forbidden Planet and WH Smiths in Cambridge if that helps.

WH Smiths in Reading was empty, as were all the corner shops I went into :(

Waterstones also stock it now.
Both Fareham and Portsmouth has around 15 in each.

Here’s a question that nobody might know the answer to.

Those of us who did the early sub, I believe we were offered issues 1-2 for being ‘loyal subbers’ as it were.

The magazine said that new subscribers, they will be offered issue 3 free if they sub.

Are we in thinking that we will be given that also, so delivery one (1-2) is free, and delivery 2 (3-6) is £24.

That was certainly the case with Conquest, my first delivery was £0 and the second £23.97.

Yeah I do seem to remember that being the case, though I also thought that in my original emails from said 1-3 are free, where as this time they only said 1-2 (the 3 could be assumed though..)

I suppose from Hachette's POV it is £2.99 +5.99 (£8.98 for issues 1 and 2) of issues free for early adopters Vs £7.99 (for issue 3) for normal subscribers. Cannot complain either way. If we were to get issue 3 "free" as well that is just a massive bonus.

Local store restocked them this morning having been sold out since the weekend ( they had left a blank space for them) so “week 2” stock seems to be going out now.

Got some cheap spawn from this weeks Conquest mag.

That seems to be the case over here as well. Was at a Tesco today and they had more copies of issue 1. It was on a standard A4 sized cardboard backing rather than the oversized one the original issues had.

Would love some cheap chain rasps, spawn and terrain.

Suppose I’ll scout eBay UK - I’m guessing some affordable sets should show up there soon?

I’ll have a Squizz around tomorrow when I’m up town. See what I can see.

Easons in the Square Tallaght had a new batch in today not sure if that’s any good to you.

Found about 20 more now in various shops now I’m not looking for them.
May get another one or two I suppose..

For anyone that was an early subscriber, but never got the second email with the account code, you may want to give Hatchette a call. Turns out that despite getting the "thanks for subscribing, we'll get back to you in 3 days" email, nothing was registered on the system...

UK is on Issue 72. If you can figure out which issue Australia is on, it might serve as a ballpark indication?

There's a payment line of £0 on mine that I saw yesterday, presumably relates to the free issues given to early subscribers. Not sure if that means a delivery is imminent or not though.

With Conquest it did always mean incoming.

Website still says 1-2 and modelling kit (who doesn’t need more plastic glue so that’s fine. ML tool and clippers less so now..) are the first delivery, so yeah should be tomorrow.

Popped in to the local WH Smiths in Bury St Edmunds and snagged a copy! And its awesome! Yes!

Bit late, but if Christmas could be condensed into £3 then its definitely this. Both factions tickle my fancy too! Hurrah!
