Im new here and ive been lurking around and readin threads and as ive read ive noticed that just about no one knows what there talking about when it comes to 40k. Sure some people know a little bit about it but most of you simply have no idea about 40k. please remedy this.

What? Practically everyone on these forums has a good knowledge of the background. You have just posted what some would consider an insult to many people here, with no other context. Sounds like trolling to me.

yeah read some background of 40k before you start professing knowledge of it. i read somewhere that someone said a M1 abrams is stronger than a leman russ. and that a 1000 man space marine chapter would have a hard time taking over present day earth. things like that is why i fear for the people in this forum.

Granted, many younger 40K players, usually the same worthless sorts who play with the grey plastic horde and abandon the game after a year or two may not know much about the background, but those like me who have played since second edition and read many codexes, issues of white dwarf, black library novels and other sources of information such as the wondrous and long-lamented Citadel Journal have such a head full of otherwise useless fluff about the Warhammer 40,000 universe that it's amazing we can function around people who have no idea it even exists. You need to find yourself an unmoderated college sports forum to poop in.

Bashing an entire forum just because you disagreed with a couple statements in a thread among thousands, is pretty dumb really. Youve got to realize that their are alot of new players on any forum. 40K is a growing game, and as such, always has new people that might not know, or care to know, all the little details about how things have come to be.
Besides there are many types of gamers out there, some just dont care about the fluff of the game, they just want to play/paint/collect. Some just like the fluff. So insulting everyone on here, because a couple people said things you didnt agree with is just silly. Also dont forget fluff wise, every race in the game is the greatest at everything, and can kill anything and everything with a broken hand, half a brain and their jaws wired shut. So according to that reasoning, Earth would never be taken over by anything, because Earthlings are the greatest army never written
