Your having too much fun with the orks man. Wouldn't be surprised if you picked up a 500pt army to play with
Excellent job I look forward to utilizing the lad good job again
After this week will have all my tax crap done and can focus on painting again.
Edit: On a side not got another person addicted to this game. Ironically enough the army he was interested in was Eldar so when I forced him to do a game using the army I had he was ecstatic. So yeah all hail Mitch soon to be Eldar player.
We need to find an imperial guard player to round us out.

Well work is fun and exciting and spring is here so my painting has been slowed.
but that doesnt mean Im not still doing stuff
and finished off the MOTF on his segway chariot of the gods, well maybe its not that good, in fact its kinda cheesey. Im perfectly ok with that
Im also working on a regular tech marine with the fancy arms and gizmos, and the orc on the boar. Gotta get with Frenzie Potatoe later this week to work out the base for that guy.

So Ive been kicking around the idea of a Terminator based of Warmachine from the comics and IronMan2 and have started such a thing. One of the things Im doing is a Stormbolter attached the the forearm (like that hasnt been done a million times) The SB Im using is a leftover from a Dread so it has the ammo belt and when I do glue it on the belt will run up the arm to the back where I plan to have a container for additional ammo. My first thought was just to use the clip from another SB but Im not totally sold on the look that will give plus if I want a squad of Termies I better not keep using their SB's unless I want to have the whole squad looking different, and I do but I havent planned that far ahead yet.
So Im asking for advice, some kind of ammo pack for the back side of a Termie.

Lovin the termie with the chain. I approve the tech marine as well. Impressive conversions. Also, I would like pictures of the cow killed by the can of cream corn.

Well thanks people for the good vibes on the conversions. The termy with the chain and bolder, 'Ox', is creating a stir in my mind as to the rock i chose made out of clay or one of the rocks my kids take handfulls of and toss at my window. Its a wip so Ill just keep messing around with it. Couple of ideas Im working on for additional terminators, the Srg is going to have bolters on his forarms and two CC weapons, sword and axe, I havent decided if the weapons will be in hand or sheathed and a flag in hand instead. A regular term is going to have his bolter holsterd on his powerfist shoulder and the free hand will be doing something, maybe going for it, or holding a dead thing, or even disco dancing. No, no dancing. A third term is going to be completely deckt out in nid shells and have a necron wraith tail, Im thinking mechagodzilla meets nid dressings feel, Whirlwind launcher on the shoulders, hvy flammer, Bolter, you know all the good horde killin stuff. Lots of fun ahead of me, plus need to do up a few more Marines and paint Frenzies last two orcs.
but hey lookie here pics of more stuff.

You know what is really amazing, how much better Ive gotten with this camera. I look back to that first post and the very first pic is overfocused horribly. I should probally spend some time and actually make a decent photo box for this type of thing.

Finally got some plasticard, intersting stuff definatly need to spend some time messing around with it.
The first plan is to give Termin Ox (guy with boulder) a face shield of sorts. Ive allread tried and tossed one idea that was two pieces with a small 'V' gap in the center of his face, didnt like it so much But did a one piece and will try a different version of that and post some pics soon win lose or fail.
So adding those pics with plasticard and all the excitment that comes with it
Ox with some extra armor around his helmet, also the PF is going to have a heat shield on it, drill some holes in that card and it should be ok
chainmail for this one with GS and the card to give the smooth shoulder some ... thing
and this ork, not sure if the pile of spent ammo is big enough yet
cc and whatnaught always sought after

Working on more Terms, the model that started with the intention of being the Srg has turned into a flag bearer of sorts. Not 100% commited to the idea of the flag bearer not being the Srg but for it to work I need to add bolters or other weapons to his forams and add a sheath for the sword and an axe ready to be unsheathed from opposite shoulder, think this current guy is just gonna hold a flag and have a chainfist. probally sling his SB along his back or just ignore it completely, I am short of SB per term atm.
Had another idea this time for three terms "The Front Line" Since my full Term Squad will be 11 (10+1lib) that does make for one side of a football team (da bears!). The idea thus far is that two will have shields made from plasticard and the 'center' will be doing the Double shield concept that so many of my friends have been debating, the two form one when forarms are pressed together. Might need to sketch that one out. Still need to order 6 more models to complete this squad unless I really can salvage some of the old plastic models that have many broken limbs/torsos/everything. Might just serve better as spare parts, they be small anyway.

Completed 5 Terminators, mostly... Well mostly completed assembly of 5 Terminators, no rush on calling them done and I might add some more 'hollywood' to their images. I need to order 6 more terms to complete the squad and Book Keeper.
here is Ox and one of the other bullet magnets
The Sarge, well the first pic is bad but Im feeling lazy about retaking a WIP pic
http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/107570-blurry%20photo.html
These next two just showin off his arms, the SB is from the old terms that Ive struggled to get as clean as it is now, pretty sure it was spray painted with something automobile intended because I cant seem to get that stuff off with any ease.
This arm is a TL Plasma pistol, the Flag needs some wear and tear done to it but that will come with time. Might add some chains on the Pole as well.
As I look forward I see the bright shiney light that is the oncoming train at the end of this tunnel. By my current calculations, all I need to assemble is 2 Devistors with ML, two regular Tactical guys, three Assault, and one last Ven Dread. By god I may have this army assembled and (short of painting) done by summers end. Course I say that and then look forward and cant see any real time to actually work on this statement till mid October with vacations, graduations, family stuff, random days of just not getting to it, and possible screaming at my bosses boss.
That and I got a good hard look at the new nid codex and realise I need to make one or five big bugs.

Got my hands on the new codex and the update for army builder finally came so thought it was time to look at my tyranid horde and see where we stand.
The horde was created with the theme, tooth and claw. If you dont know that means its intended to be assault or die, and with the exception of one brood of biovore thats what it is. Currently the list lays 400 points shy of 3k and that is without unnecissary buffs to most units. Also many of these were some of my early paintings and long before I started to work on shading or even proper washes, so yeah lots of improvement can be done to the paint scheme but Im always up to hear the Critics and Commets on the painting and army list.
HQ Two tyrants, one winged one with three gaurds
Elite Two lictors, with parts to make a third or make it a deathleaper
Toops Two genesteale squads of 20 and two hormagaunt of 30, could add a full squad of rippers or three warriors
Fast One brood of 3 shrikes and one brood of 3 raveners
Heavy Brood of 3 biovors, Brood of 2 Screamer killer fexes, and Old One-eye (duh its me 1-i)
HQ
Elite
Troops
Fast
Heavy
So like I mentioned earlier need to add 400 to get an even 3000 points, heres my options based of whats laying around and I dont plan to buy anything
1- Death leaper or at least 3rd lictor
2- Add a fex
3- Rippers
4- three warriros or 3 more shrikes
5- your other ideas
thanks guys for any advice on this one

Now all I need to do is one last orc riding a platforms carried by skaven and give it a voodoo weird boy vibe.
Then I can finish assembling the few remaining marines, then work on the massive horde that is my nid army, then maybe paint something.

Well since I did the 'Nid Army list figured its time for the Space Marine one. This list is Apoc setup because when I started the marines it was for things I thought were cool and not so much to regular organisation, plus with the unexpected pick of random figs here and there it kinda grew. Best guess is around 3k point value and 6 termies are the only planned purchase for this army, so its shouldnt be getting any bigger. No pics at this time but probally add some in the near future
Hq
MOTF on segway w/conversion beamer
Liberarian Terminator (dont have it yet but its on the list)
Elite
Dread w/ Plasma Cannon and ML
Ironclad dread
Ven Dread MM and SB+DCCW
10 man Terminator Squad
5 man Sterngaurd
Lone Techmarine
possibly one more dread, havent decided what im doing with it
Troop
2 full Tac Squads with Flamer, combieMelta and PF
2 6 man Scouts 4 snipers, 1 heavy bolter, 1 first kill and one squad has Tel the other Sniper Srg
Fast
Speeder with lots of boom (in the works)
Assault or Vangaurd fly boys 6 strong
Vangaurd 5 strong, ground pounders, probally have a Razor back with them
Heavy
Devastators with ML's
Predator TL Las and bolter sponsons
Whirlwind

Metal term that OOP, didnt need another autocannon in the group but he had it and Ill just ignore it for games, named after a friends cat I present "Buzzsaw VonKillington" (that cat has issues)
Action pose standard marine (complete with karate chop action ;P)

Im a madman with the camera lately!
Did some greenstuff work on the Terminator Srg, roughed up the flad and added an extra flap to it, ajusted the butt flap for optimal air flow, and took a failed cape from another terminator and trimmed it up for Srg.
Now Im not done with him yet, looking at the top view of him, his right shoulder, the cape is obviously shorter then on the left. Two ideas stir in my mind about this, 1 add a little fire to that shoulder and show some buring action to the cape, 2 greenstuff some chain or rope to connect to the shoulder. I really want to overdue the grizzly veteran look to all the cloth on his back but weather its recent damage (1) or glorified damage (2) I just cant decide.
So comeone kids lets have some input please
added input: the SB snub nose barrel look doesnt feel right for him, I will be adding new barrels to that gun soon.

the past week has brought invading hornets and ants into the house (literally) windstorms that took an apple tree, neighbors complaining about the chainsaw to clean up the windstorm mess, and humidity that is messing up any paint work that ive done.
so here are some tau Im doing for but CK. Sorta an elite bunch of plain jane firewarriors. Really I had to twist his arm because I wanted to work on them for my own amusment.

Ya know your greenstuff skillz have improved greatly over a short period of time. I was curious when Co-co told me he gave you his tau.
You have to stop helping others with their stuff man you will get nothing finished for yourself
Loving the Terminator.
Guess I ought to update my post with all the stuff I managed. Keep up the good work surely others out there will have an opinion or I will Waagh! into their houses.

I have one more Scout Sarg to paint, its a converted Vindicare assasin, he was almost painted but when I started doing the washes the insane humidity killed the paintjob so had to start over.

My suggestion would be a tome or a plasma coil / tube.
