Allo, I normally never do an introductory thing when I register on a new forum but I thought I might as well for this one.
I came searching for a forum that wasn't incredibly... Dead, as alot of other 40k (and warhammer in general) forums seem to be recently, and this one seems to fit the bill.
I've got 2 AoRB's and a box of Boyz of Orks, and a box of FW's, a DF and a Commander for Tau... I'm not really much of a gamer, however I know most of the rules (I've played maybe 5 games in 5 years) however the Tau for me a like... A long term painting project which I spend alot of time on each model, while the Orks I am attempting to speed paint for a first full army.
Anyway, yeah. Hi.

Dark Eldar come next.
It looks like you're just getting started with orks - before you buy models you don't know if you need or will use in your final iteration, I would urge you to figure out what kind of orks you want to play, and collect/paint models towards that theme. kk, all good... WAIT NO... It's between the pages, AHHH!!!
Gah, anyway..
Well, I was doing Deff Skullz about a year ago (when I actually got the AoRB Orks etc), but I changed it a few months later to Bad Moonz, which is obviously harder for me to speed paint... Especially since the only yellow I own is Sunburst Yellow -.- Might have to fix that at some point. I do like the idea of Battlewagons, Meganobz etc.. But what else do Bad Moonz specialize in?
Oh and with your post you linked... I ended up, about 5 months ago... Cutting off and converting some of the AoRB Boyz arms into Shoota Boy arms and adding the Shootas Glad I did.
EDIT: Hairdryer works pretty well at drying codex's ^^

You will have to get Iyanden darksun, works a treat for speed painting yellow, at least as a base for your yellow areas.
