Perhaps, but it almost certaintly means that Imperial Guard is just another class. Which blows the fluff out of the water and then pulverizes it with AA guns.

Awesome. I want more shots of battles with titans walking around, like the rest of the battle is a mere irritation to their daily stroll. This game can't come out soon enough.

I like almost everything i've seen so far.
I am hoping that they somehow balance the imperial classes. because its gonna be a hard sell to get people to be a guardsman when they can be a space marine.
also i dread the thought of orks having to work with chaos.
I'm hoping they go the dark age of camelot route and make more than two factions.

heres hoping that you play as 1 marine while if your a guardsman you play as a guardsman sergeant and his squad.
hoping anyway
The Imperium of Man is able to traverse the Warp with difficulty when their Emperor concentrates from his golden life support machine and lights the way. Unfortunately, because the Emperor has the attention span of the average 5-year-old Pokemon fanboy, this means that many an unfortunate Imperial ship has had the WTF WHERE'D THE LIGHTS GO experience, which in the Warp is invariably fatal.

Seconded. I imagine something similar to the mastermind class in City of Villains!
Looks that way in the video. The way THQ and Relic were explaining it in past interviews, each class will be set up with an RTS Tech-Tree style skill system (Kinda like WoW). From the look of it, two of those are Guard Spec-Ops and Guard Line Infantry. If you want a squad, I'd imagine Line Infantry would be the way to go. The video and stills of the Spec Ops Guardsman all show him acting alone.
Makes more sense to have each Imperial race as a class. Prevents overpopulation of that unit, stops the immense server imbalance that would come about from having 2 or 3 Imperial factions, and it would work better with the skill-tree thing they're talking about.

while that would be kinda awesome, I don't see how that would be balanced or you'd fit through doors.
I tried being normal but it's boring so now I'm back to being insane

I think you just answered your own question.
"Look sir, a dreadnought! We'll never put enough firepower into it before it gets here!"
"Right you are, soldier! We'll be much safer on the other side of that door frame!"

Hah!
So what do we think our guess are for other factions?
Orks have to be one, with classes like "Big Mek", maybe "Runt Herder", your basic Choppa->Warboss
Eldar, maybe? They'll give the requisite caster class." I think making the Bonesinger a class could be kind of cool, as a kind of "Engineer" type class. Maybe one or two of the Aspect warriors as well.
Chaos has to be in there. Chaos Marines are easy, maybe some LatD for an IG type run, mutant or sorcerer maybe...
That gives us two "good" factions and two "evil" factions.
What are the chances I get to pilot an XV-88?

That's not necessarily true. While I agree they should be in there, they may just be an enemy race of mobs. Sort of like Skaven were in WAR. I would think Chaos would be a playable faction, but you also need to have a central enemy-NPC faction that you're striving to fight against. PvP is awesome, but PvE is what keeps the game grounded. I would believe it if it was the Imperium of Man, Eldar and Orks (player factions) versus Chaos, Tyranids and Daemons (NPC factions).
Not saying it'll be like that at all, but I could see the game working that way.
Edit: Although in the video, it ldoes ook like someone is controlling that Chaos marine.

Yeah, some of the quick seens they showed seemed to imply that you will (at times anyway) be in control of a squad rather than an individual. I'm curious what the gameplay style is like. Some of the things (like riding bikes) seems to imply its more action oriented, while some other scenes looked more traditional RPG style, and some looked like they were taken directly from DoW...
Also, for races in the video I saw daemons (or a GUO anyway), some chaos marines (looked like word bearers I think), and I think there may have been an ork in there.

Right, because making your game boring to play is good design.
If you're worried about balance it would be better to make allPCs elite troops of one type or another (Space Marines, Sepharim, Flash Gitz...) and leave the cannon fodder as NPCs.

WoW?
Got Told.
Honestly it looks good but I'm not interested. More so if it's pay to play (which it will be)
If it were essentially Star wars battlefront 2 just with the races swapped then it would be sold already with me.

And that is why the God Emperor invented Holy Promethium fueled Flame Throwers.
I for one will play this game even if it sucks - so long as orks are in it.

Hear hear!
I'm very set on rocking out a Guard Sergeant, even if the game ends up being complete trash. Though being a THQ/Relic title, that would involve a whole lot of broken mirrors

Yeah, that would be awesome, but I'm sure that is something we can probably expect with Space Marine multiplayer, at least I hope so.
