No Gremlin Goodies? For shame!

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Is Hamelin a master now?

I wish their online store was up to date and had decent sized pics of the models.

Eh, not too interested in Hamelin. There are a lot of other models in the book which are way cooler. The other stuff is good though. Looking forward to the guns in particular. Not a lot of people do conversions on their Malifaux models.

That $15 rule book means I'm probably going to have to start a Malifaux army...

Is the game as awesome as people tell me? I've heard the term MalifOWN thrown out more than once.

Gr3y the game is really, really fun and easy to pick up. You can get into it for roughly $50 if you are including the new rulebook.

They'll be releasing a PDF with the core rules too. The $15 version will have more content, but the PDF will have everything you need to play from my understanding.

For some stupid reason, Wyrd is blocked at work.
Looks like I'm "subscribing" so I can remember to check 'em out later.

I've been waiting for Mechanical Doves, but they're slightly underwhelming. I'm not a fan of how one is significantly higher and different than another.

Hamelin, the Overpowered is also surprisingly underwhelming for such a broken master. All other masters look sinister or powerful. Hamelin looks like he's actually suffering from his plague. Ah well, he's still going to wreck face and be overpowered.

Love the rats. The Terrier is interesting as well...

A little puzzled as to what the 'Drill Sergeant' is supposed to be doing, and what is going on with his right hand. The pose, the facial expression and the slightly slap-dash outfit all sort of combine to not at all say 'Drill Sergeant' to me. Just some random guy with a truncheon.

The creepy kids are kind of awesome, though.

It's hard to make out exactly what's on his hand but I read his pose as yelling "You 'orrible little maaggot!" in the face of some hapless recruit.

I'm loving so much of the stuff Wyrd is putting out. It makes me wish I had more time to paint and play. Snow Storm and the Desperate Mercs are great stuff.

I really dig Malifaux, and the minis they are putting out are fantastic.

I also noticed this comment about their resin bases on their website :

Hey folks,

Just a heads up, had some malicious gremlins get into our resin bases and we're having to dig back in with some new equipment as they weren't quite up to the standard we at Wyrd are happy to put out.

In the mean time, the bases have been released as metal base inserts as our normal line of these have been in the past as we move forward to working out the kink in producing these in the quantities, and quality, that are sufficient for our needs.

Just posted it because I saw a direct parrallel to the GW finecast. Except in this case they halted production and let everyone know they were going to fix the problem. Wyrd seems to have it right!

Wow! Those sewers look really great. That's not a sentance I ever thought I'd use.

I really need to actually pick up the rules to this game. I bought the Cult of December pack on a whim because the models struck me, and was very impressed with the quality of the figures and packaging. Wyrd seems to be one to watch.
