I have played a few games with my Wyches and they always die without doing much damage.
I usually field 9 wyches with a hetrix wielding agonizer and a hydra gauntlet in a raider with an archon wielding a agonizer.
My question is, how do i get them into the fray without dying?

Carefully timed. Make sure you overload threats - you have to ram it down your enemy's throat. I run 2 wych units and a bloodbrides + succubus unit. ravagers eliminate as much of the long-range at as possible and you rely on flat-out saves to deliver as many wychs as possible. This has worked for me @ 1500 points. I use warriors and trueborn w/blasters as support for this.

I would take the archon out of the same raider. your sinking to many points in a 10 AV transport. As Dracos said, send mutiple units at the enemy so they have to decide what to shoot at.

WWP. The webway portal is your friend . More than one, and you're knee deep in enemy dead.

OH! well that depends how many raiders you are currently cramming in. The WWP costs just over half the cost of a raider.

how would i effective deploy the WWP?
I am only using one raider.
OOH IDEA
Ask for 600 point game
put a achron in a no upgrades raider
have the raider fly fast blowing up various tanks and whatnot unitil i have a decent web way dropoff point
drop the portal, then attack!
NO NO NO WAIT
take an archon, and 6 trueborn in a raider.
Give the raider retrofire jets and flicker fields,
deploy it 12 near an enemy (prefferably a heavy weapons squad)
unleash the magiks of the disenagrator cannon on thier poor weapons team,
run out and deploy portal next turn, depend on the scatter result.

I never upgrade my raiders, it's a bit of a point sink. They're gonna get mashed anyway! What does your regular opponent take?

The standard FOC doesn't really support games of this size.
Small games put more emphasis on luck, makes it all dice and who goes first. Play bigger games.

The game is really too few points for a good game that is not based mostly on luck.
Plus, never just use one vehicle in 40k. One vehicle is a dead vehicle as that is where all the anti-tank will go. Try to have at least 2-3 to make sure that each have a chance to be a threat.

Flickerfields make raiders 33% more survivable for a 16% point increase. Night shields ruin rapid fire weapons and meltas, and enable you to get out of range of even 48" weapons with clever deployment. Then, you have to take into consideration that it's carrying something far more valuable than itself, and suddenly it all looks like a very good deal. It skims a small amount of points off the top, while making you much, much more likely to actually be able to deliver the payload you're buying it for in the first place.

I guess I'm still running my army like I did with the old 'dex. I'm still winning games. I have tried a flickerfield and to be honest it didn't pay off for me. I was giving advice on what I have found worked for me.

It doesn't actually ruin rapid fire. cutting the max range doesn't affect rapid fire distance of 12' all the time. it does ruin melta because that's half range.

If you want to get wyches to the fight alive...
1. Take Haemonculi with them so they start with FNP.
2. Take multiple units of them.
3. Put them in raiders, give the raiders flickerfields and aethersails.

I like my wyches and run them in 8 man squads w/ hekatrix agoniser; a shardnet and haywire grenades @136pts. Wyches are fragile in the open but once they get into CC should do well against almost anything, the trick is to use combat moves to your advantage eg. when manuevering to assault a unit make sure the closest model is a normal wych and your shardnet is somewhere near the front, then when you charge try to base the shardnet with a special weapon/ IC/both. The Agoniser is fairly crucial as it is your best chance of doing some casulties, also never forget your drugs all of them have uses.
As for small games I'd consider swapping your archon out for a haemonculus or 2 this gives you the advantage of starting your wych squads with a pain token( just remember to split them off from the wyches after disembarking as haemonculus don't have fleet).
and edit missed point of the thread entirely
Webway can be really effective just remember to get it placed on your first turn. For Raiders I'd suggest the above unit with a haemonculus deployed out of sight if possible, turn one turbo boost toward enemy. If the raider dies place your models behind the wreckage thus gaining a cover save; or in the crater made by the explosion (make some craters the size of raiders if you have to!) with the haemonculus this gives you a 4+ cover/4+ FNP against further fire. Dark Eldar are fragile and you have to use every rule you can to your advantage.

And I quote, "The extra distance is also counted for working out if the vehicle is in rapid-fire range, half range for a melta shot, and so on." Bottom of page 63, near the end of the Night Shields entry. It is the range of the weapons, not their maximum range.

This is actualy quite sound advice. :-)
I have found a problem for me when I am playing DE is that the terain is usualy not tall enough to give my raiders cover. In the battlereports from GW the terain completle hides the raider enabeling them to manadge with just 1 WWP! It is amasing!

For a low points beginner (i'm assuming) game. I'd go with:
Haemonculus w/ Liquifier gun. A bit random but works well.
8 Wyches w/ Hydra Gauntlet + Hekatrix w/ Agoniser in Raider w/ Aethersails
10 Warriors w/ Blaster + Splinter Cannon in Raider w/ Flickerfield
4 Mandrakes
Put the Haemonculus with the Wyches and zoom forward using the extra movement from the Aethersails.
Use the raider to try and take out the rhino while the squad inside shoots any infantry.
Infiltrate the mandrakes and try to tie upt he Havocs in CC so they aren't shooting your vehicles.
At such a low points level it's hard to bring multiple threats. Generally speaking 1 Wych squad won't do much, you need 2-3 to be effective. It's easy to shoot down one raider with 10 guys inside..Not so much 3 containing 30 guys. (With possible FNP if you get the right drug).

278 points can get you a WWP Haemy, 9 haywire wyches + shardnet in a flickerfield raider.
That leaves you with 222 points to add another troop and whatever else you want to take. As others have said, at 500 points there isn't a whole lot you can do, but keeping the HQ cheap and cutting down on vehicles will help.
