Greetings from sunny Australia.
I am a long time gamer with experience in everything from friendly, fluff heavy games (this is my preference, love a good storyline and everyone enjoying them) right up to ultra-competitive tournament play (interesting but not my absolute cup of tea).
I have recently returned refreshed and ready to tackle my biggest challenge. I intend to complete a 2000 point army for each codex/army book for WFB and 40k, ambitious? Yes.
The goal is to have a fluff heavy army, with a few pieces of themed terrain and a custom built carrying case that will take the entire force in one go. The codex/army book will be enclosed inside with a few pages of fluff about the theme and storyline of the army. I plan to do a 40k army then a WFB army alternating to keep things as fresh as possible.
Thanks for taking time to listen to my rant and hope to keep anyone interested on my progress. Hopefully I can keep some form of forward momentum.

The World Cup is certainly in full swing, New Zealand is really a short plane trip from Sydney (only 4 hours I think) so it is a very close neighbour. We take on the Kiwis in the Semi FInal on Sunday our time and I just dont think we can get over the top, its a home world cup for the all blacks and we are playing like girls.
The first army is Iron Hands, I have finished the Venerable Dreadnought and Most of the Techmarine, a few marines and when I finish off my uni this year I will get back into it and post the pictures for some coments.
