heya, been skulking around for a few week just checking the site out...very informative

any way bit about me, been out of the hobby for around 5 years, used to play nids and wood elves. Ended up selling them to purchase guitar stuff, which in turn i have recently sold to purchase bills

Now that thats all payed off iv purchased some miniatures (and the cycle begins again, only i dont plan on quiting this time)

recently decided to get back into it

anyway i have just purchsed an old dark eldar battleforce of ebay for cheap cheap cheap

(if anyone could tell will i be able to use tihs in the current edition of the game? as i am aware the new models are out soon as is the new codex)

so yeah, if theres anything iv missed just let me know.

You will still be able to use the old models, you'll need the new codex though. You'll find there are several units that never existed in the old dex, so unfortunately you won't be able to get cheap old models for everything.

thanks for the welcome guys.

went to my local GW today and made myself up a list with a codex they had( sadly cant afford my own yet, the battleforce was enough for now

), got my first beginners day ina couple of week to grasp the rules again

, will keep posted on how i do and post some picks up when iv finished painting my army
