I can live with silly marketing practices, but if anyone wants to play the " its a biz first" then GW better behave like one and start to provide a competitive product and good quality control. If its all down to money then GW business fails to deliver and falls short to the competition on the market...

So yeah I can put the fiascos behind my back but only if I don't look at them as just a Business first. If you start crunching numbers and comparing with alternatives than GW is a bad business IMO.

And, I just thought of something that would make this game awesome - to me, at least. It's believed that the ships are going to be of a decent size, yeah?

Give us individual models that can be used in boarding actions. Dwarfs swinging over into enemy ships? Vampires leaping across and taking over enemy vessels? That might actually make it purchase worthy.

Load them in the cannons and fire them into boarding!

Well it is "talk like a pirate day" on Monday... Having said that it annoys the hell out if me that they pull this limited edition stunt a week before GD UK.

Yes, that was a bit rubbish, but it seems one of the Empire ships will have a big arse hammer on deck. Can't see it being very sea worthy.

That really lowered my expectations for this game. A ship with a huge hammer...really? Are you farking serious? Thats about the dumbest thing Ive ever heard...

So that basically kills 99% of the hope I had for this being a decent game. Now all thats left is hope that the ships (sans hammer) will be cool and maybe useful for something else.

I hope so, because a ship with a giant hammer on it like some sort of battlebot (remember those?) is...well idiotic (and well to me only makes sense with Orks who can get away with stuff that dumb and come out looking good)
