That's a really good excuse to paint my space/future barbarians... How far along can they be to count?

I'm afraid if they've got more than a single colour (other than Primer) they can't qualify. If it's just the one colour on them, then go ahead!

Happy Halloween all

I always seem to say this but some great stuff again this month. Well done everyone who has finished.

My final entry. I've put a few bonus pics in for you lucky people and a crazy idea.

These are my trick or treating Orks dressed up as Star was Characters, oRk2D2 and Yodork. I'm not sure I would pick trick with these 2 at the front door.

Since its Halloween heres some ghoulishly glowing models (Don't try this as I've just found out it buggers any paint it comes into contact with :( )

As a bonus heres the whole Ork Star Wars family, sadly you can see in these photos how the paint was damaged by the florescent paint (I cut open a glow stick and used that)

Awesome. I may depaint the ones with too much, they're quite fitting for the topic.

I'll be finishing up the last Veteran for my Command Squad and getting things ready to begin my Librarian for November's painting competition.

I've already got the proof picture taken, just waiting on November's thread to get posted so I can drop it there.

Take it easy.

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

OK, just incase I am unable to get photos up in time tomorrow, here are my (provisional) final entry photos:

They are either ringing a doorbell shouting "Trick or Treat!?", or calling for a lift, I can't decide (Sorry for the poor lighting quality).

Happy Chestnut day! (yes, we actually have a national tradition dedicated to a spiky fruit, we, eastern Spanish separatists are weird like that)

Thinking I was dead? well, I was, messing with your sleeping schedule will do that to you.

But I did manage to get some (crappy) pictures of the finished Ghost Pirate Ship (or as finished as it will get. Sadly I couldn't find the ninjas.

Not my best month, but I found a use for part of Dreadfleet.

And I may have one or two things for next month.

Hey everyone. I've been keeping tabs and have been so impressed with everyone's entries.

Sadly I had too much RL to deal with (birthdays, illnesses, work blah blah blah), so my Balrog remains half GSed and not even primed. He will be finished, but don't know when. May try to enter something next month, but struggling to think of an achievable model that fits the theme

Done!! Finished him with about 30 seconds to spare before I had to go to a Halloween film night with my friends (Trick 'r Treat, Halloween (original) and You're Next in case anyone cared about the evening's entertainment) and I've just got in so it's time to put pics up while the amnesty is still in effect:

A slightly better look at his lovely face:

Well done all, I look forward to giving them all a proper viewing in the voting thread tomorrow.

H'OK... Scraping in at the last minute just before 10PM EST... @_@

Was hoping to get more done, but these Malifaux models are surprisingly fiddly... Especially Candy. She is SO SMALL... >_> I was kind of wanting to paint some of the Malifaux Gremlins... now not so eager.
Spoiler:

Nevertheless... nothing says Halloween more than GHOSTS AND A GIRL WITH A BASKET OF TREATS... Here's my entry: (Rest of entry photos under the spoiler)

Sweeeeet stuff Keezus. Malifaux has some really tidy figs and you sure did those ones justice

Keezus, where did you get that novelty oversized penny and how can you paint with such huge fingers? Because I know you are playing with the scale there, no way something that tiny can have such detail. Forced perspective?

Great stuff from everyone getting it in under the wire. Looking forward to the vote poll. I know we say this every month, but it’s going to be another tough one to vote for.

@Gitsplitta, Januine: m(_)m Thanks for the kind words. Means a lot coming from two amazing hobbyists such as yourselves.

@Nevelon: I thought I had some sort of mental preparedness for how small the small some Malifaux models are... I painted Wong for a friend and he was pretty small... but when I cracked open the Pandora starter... to be honest, Candy's smallness kept me from painting her for 6 months... as the amount of detail on her tiny sculpt was super intimidating... its one of the reasons I haven't started painting my Infinity models yet. :(

Maybe the figure is far away?

But seriously, well done Keezus, that is horrifically tiny.

Finally done - well, done yesterday but camera disasters today. Had to use the wife's wee camera, which is just.....odd. And then Dakka wouldnt upload the pics - arggghhh. Anywho - here's the final shots of Minus The Merciless and his little toy

Janine-that's wonderfully, horribly, unbelievably well done creepery. Amazing.

I've dropped out of this, didn't get the rest done. It's been a pretty horrible month.

To everyone else, amazing work! Absolutely inspirational!
