That's actually a really good deal compared to buying everything individually. It's like getting a free Ghost Ark.

Well, the new battleforce is a smokin hot deal! It is about 140-150 USD of stuff for 105!!!

Thats a pretty decent saving actually. £65 for the battleforce that woud cost £92.50 to buy individually. Sure you'd get 4 extra warriors if you bought it individually, but for nearly a £30 saving it's not bad at all.

It probably means GKs are still selling like hot-cakes without needing extra encouragement, while Necron-sales have been comparatively lackluster (especially given the rather good deal this offers).

When they updated the Advance Orders page, they took down the 25th anniversary marine. But now, I can't find if at all.


The Necrons battle force looks great!

The 25th Anniversary Marine sold out Kronk. It's been sold out for a few weeks now.

Only way to get it is from going to a GW shop this weekend, I think.

Pre-orders for the 25th anniversary marine are sold out (according to the GW blog). If you can get your foot in the door at a GW stomre on the 25th, you may still be able to buy one however.

I was just looking at it and thought it's not such a good deal. Am I missing something?

20 warriors and 5 scarabs is basically 1.5 x the warrior box (warrior box is 12 warriors and 3 scarabs 1.7x is 20.4 warriors and 5.1 scarabs), so 1.7x $35 ($59.50)
5 immortals is $33.
Ghost ark is $49.50
For a total of 92.50 plus a Ghost Ark or $142 for $105.

Maybe the only reason I'm not ecstatic is I already have a ton of warriors and 2 ghost arks. I was really hoping for more Immortals, deathmarks, etc.

Still is a "first" on putting a fairly expensive vehicle of the $50 mark into a box. All others tend to have "cheap" vehicles in the $30 range, if that.

And this one's double-use for HS too.

If you own the stuff already, it's obviously less attractive, but that goes for all Battleforces I would guess.

I was thinking more in terms of usefulness. I'm playing BA and my box is awful basically. Rhino, tac marines etc? This one on the other hand actually has a few items that can be used longer term.

On topic with the Necron BF: This is a great starter with very useful units.

Sweet! I'm glad I ordered mine on the first day!

Also, it was still showing on the website as of yesterday. If it was sold out 2 weeks ago (and I believe you that it was), why didn' they take it down earlier?

Good deal. I want to start up necrons. 2x Plz!! And it is a might cooler that two of units included are the multipurpose ones (Deathmarks/Immortals). Really great battleforce.
