Do they still take a month to dispatch to the uk? Will that poor lad called Richard ever get bored of saying that they dont know when items will be posted every time somebody rings the phone, also will they ever stop moving warehouses? Untill i find the answer to these questions i will order fro someplace else.

"crackel" isn't a word, it's "crackle". Kinda makes it hard to search for Crackle medium.

New site looks...well, way better than the text-filled old one, that's for sure. Much easier to find things now (typos notwithstanding)

How's that Real Time Stock system you said you'd have two years ago coming?

Shouldn't have uploaded the new site until it was done. You just went from piss-poor stock tracking to none at all.

Finally, you're showing percentage discounts on the website.

That was the #1 reason I never bothered to buy from you in the past, you have different % off both between ranges and within ranges and I could never be bothered to get the calculator out when there are other sites that do it for me.

Now that I can do that, I can actually price-compare properly, and it turns out you've got some some great deals on there so I don't know why you didn't do it sooner!

As a consumer I don't want to know that something is £13.19 and it used to be £17.49 RRP, I just want to know what the hell that means in percentage terms. Any website that makes me get out the calculator gets ignored.

I think I'll make an order at some point... you're the only webstore which has the Mantic goblin spitters horde online (thanks for being quick about updating that range) and £20 for 40 minis is pretty good. I might take mercy on that stack of Mantic elves you've got gathering dust too. :p

Free shipping codes are pretty good for impulse buys, too, makes it so much easier to make a small order just to pick the odd thing up.

Excellent news, it looks nice. Hopefully it performs as well as it looks.

Re live stock having recently popped in on the basis of existing stock (I even called) only to find there wasn't this will be a boon to me when it is introduced.

I've only had a cursory look but there appears to be no where to buy TTN events - are there none at the moment or have I missed the link?

Also (small grumble) I can not adjust the number of items I am viewing on each page. With so many items I prefer a single long page and not multiple small ones.

Oh great looking site! I just wish that (with the old site) I had seen the free shipping thing before I made my order. I'd have saved $10. DAMN MY EYES!

But anyway, the new site looks fantastic. I feel compelled to order something just to celebrate it. However I'm not allowed to order GW stuff :(

not sure if it's actually gathering dust; they had to order the 35% discounted elf army (the 50 quid RRP one) I bought a little while ago - it came with the free spearmen sprue honouring the 3.0/1.0 release, too.
don't ask me how they do it

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Yepper, it'll actually be interesting to see what is available when the real time stock tracking goes up.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

Looks like a nice improvement.

I've used Wayland in the past, but I've tended to favor Maelstrom instead. One big reason for that is how they breakdown their products.

For instance - if I want some GW Orcs, I find them on Maelstrom on a single page divided into HQ/Core/Special/Rare - which makes it much easier to find what I'm looking for. On Wayland's site - it's just all randomly listed, over multiple pages.

Plus - they don't Freebooter's Fate stuff split from Freebooter's miniatures, which makes it a nightmare to find any of them. (Though they also don't seem to ever add the new FF releases, so I don't think they actively carry the range). Since the embargo - that's really all I order from Maelstrom anymore, and it looks like I might need a new supplier soon ...

Forum? You just need to register and put out a ticket with the help desk.

In hindsight I should've just ordered with Miniature Market. Yes there is a steep shipping fee involved but they ship on the day you order in most cases and when they say it's in stock, it's there.

I see Flames of War stuff counts as 0 weight with free shipping. Does that also apply to GF9 and any other Battlefront products, or just FoW specifically?

Hi Scipio, some items are too big to ship freely. Most are 0 weight though for those ranges.

Thanks Rich. Are those items noted in their descriptions? Also, is the 20% VAT amount used to subsidise the postage costs on other ranges to Australia/RoW?

It's also probably worth adding a hyperlink to your signature that links to the store.

One last thing, and I'd really appreciate an answer. What happened to the rest-of-world shipping for GW product? It seems to have died a quiet death, but I'd much rather see a statement from you as to whether it's dead or a possibility to happen in the short./medium term.

Out of curiosity, how long does it take for a cancelled order paid for via PayPal to be refunded?

Now I don't know how long Wayland would take at their end,

but Paypal themselves say it can take up to 30 days for a refund to appear back on a credit/debit card

(if the payment was made from a paypal balance it is much faster, in my experience same day or quicker()

The PP account is linked to my bank account, not some form of credit/debit card. Oh well, just curious, as other companies usually have the refund done in a day or so, this has been five working days since.
