And if the Multi-Target rules from the 'leaked' 6th edition pan out, the Gunwagon idea will be even more devestating, since you'd be able to fire the killkannon as well.

The '6th Ed' rules have something about targeting with vehicles. Each vehicle gets a certain number of points it can spend on shooting stuff every round, with Assault weapons being cheaper than Heavy being cheaper than Ordinance and so on. Vehicles with 14 front armour get 3 base, and that either doubles or triples when they don't move (or maybe it doubles even if they move 6" or less)- and units like Meks and Techmarines can increase the base number of points.

So my Boomstompa, which usually houses 4 Meks, could potentially get 7 base points, which would then be increased to 14 or more- this can be used to fire all 4 Rokkits, the Kannon, and the Killkannon at once, and even to allow it to split fire.

GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

The sound of chainsaws clashing echoed through the metal corridors of the ship, guardsmen flinched in there cells with each clash and roar from the crowd. There was no hope for them here. The men that were left sat in corners and against the cold walls, some had already lost there will and chattered to themselves wildly, others covered their fear with anger lashing out at the other men. A few grots ran by laughing and running spanners along the bars, gleefully taunting the broken guardsmen. A huge roar from the crowd was quickly followed by gurgled scream, Lexlo was dead.

Grots hurried into the center arena grabbing what ever they could and quickly hurrying back into there hiding places, an unlucky one was crushed underfoot by Grishnark as he goaded the crowd. Hundreds of Orks filled the arenas stands, all yelling and all craving more bloodshed, a weird boy in the crowd exploded only causing more uproar and laughter from the crowd. Grishnark roared at the crowd, he then looked over to an idle blue grot standing in the arena, he pointed to one of the corridors leading out of the arena. The blue grot ran in that direction as if his life depended on it, and as he did was almost hit by a stray slugga round from the crowd.

Small foot steps could be heard running down the corridor towards the cells, a small blue grot darted past and stopped just before the end of the corridor. “Grishnark wants another” “ANOTHER, THERE WON’T BE NONE LEFT SOON!”
The Ork sat up, he was littered with scares and had one protruding tooth coming through his lower lip, his eyes were small red and angry, he had one fresh cut running down from his eye to his chin which was still weeping blood. He looked at little blue grot before kicking him back down the corridor, the Ork stood up, still hunched over and walked along the cages. He stopped, something had caught his eye. In the middle of the cell sat Epaphus smiling back at him.
“YOU UP”, Epaphus stared at the Orks wound and got up without making a sound, the Ork grabbed him and pulled him close to the bars “yor turn” the Ork smiled.

Epaphus was thrown into the arena as the huge metal door crashed behind him, about 10 metres in front of him stood a huge Ork. Holding a human spine in one hand and a axe in the other the Ork looked down at Epaphus, he grinned and pointed to a pile of rusty and broken weapons “pic” was all the Ork said. Roars from the crowd echoed around the arena, Epaphus ran to the pile trying to find something that wasn’t covered in rust. He stumbled across an old imperial chain sword as grot from the sidelines lunged at him, dodging with ease the grot landed on the pile of rusty weapons Epaphus pushed down on the grot slowly as the pointy objects pieced its body. He heard a bellowing laugh from behind him and roars of laughter from the crowd, he picked up the chain sword and the battle begun.
The Ork swung with the axe narrowly missing before following with a downward swing of the spine, it missed and collided with the floor the shattered skull sending bone dust into the air, Epaphus quickly took advantage and thrust the chain sword forward narrowly missing the Ork. Epaphus had over reached and he was made to pay the price, the Orks head met his chest and winded him. Epaphus fell backwards and swung out low with the chain sword, it found the Orks leg digging deep into it. The crowd roared, the pair were both wounded but the Ork more severely. Epaphus said a prayer to the emperor and with all his strength he tried to stand up, but before he could a blue grot landed on his back, Epaphus had no strength left and collapsed. Epaphus felt the club meet his skull and everything went black.

thank you

OK, so anyone remember this guy?

well he compleatly fell apart a while ago, and in my frustration i used some of his bits on other things.
since then i have decided to try again and do better.

current progress

I needed to add the green stuff around some of the plates and extra bits just because it was'nt staying with any of the glues i used on it (thanks gw) and then i was trying to make it look like welds, but the question is does it look like welded metal... and for the people who don't read the text. The flamer in the last picture fits onto the models left shoulder and i am wanting to incorperate the axe into the model but am open to surgestions about weapons and how to do them.

DOES THE GREEN STUFF LOOK LIKE WELDED METAL OR DO I NEED TO CHANGE IT, HELP HERE WOULD BE GREAT......THANKS

its just im not too disappointed but a secound (or a few) oppinion/s on it could'nt hurt. just want to try and get this up to the next level all round model wise.

BTW Everything here is just wip incase people have surgestions

ok well im done, thanks for looking

I thought the GS was poorly done chain to begin with

Managed to work out it was meant to be welding before you asked about it though

It seems a bit thick though perhaps? Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas to make it better (all my modelling supplies and books are in a crate somewhere between the UK and Oz...)

First of all, when did you move to aus? secoundly, lol, you know your not doing well when someone mistakes it for a badly don chain, And d/w tis cool ill work it out. (hopefully)

so i found a bunch of different welds and i dont know which to try and copy, need to sort out the current ones for sure now.
they are numbered if people want to say what they thnk would work best.

1) 2) 3)
4)

I think the GS wielding is a good idea, havent seen it before. It looks realistic. I dont see Ork meks worrying too much about neatness. And I like the direction of your Ork walker. Looks better than the first one.

Thanks for the input guys but i think im going to go with something like this rather then messyer ones, just because then i know people will know its mold lines not just blobs of crappy gs work. that said i want some bits too look a bit messy and badly done but as if an ork did the welds badly.... which could be a pain in the but meh

I've been here over a month now (touched down on July 2nd) Da Dark Angelz aren't due until September (hence why not much activity from me at the moment )

I think any of those sample welds would work out great. Looks like you need place down little balls of GS and smush them down one at a time overlapping the previous (or just push down with something small and spherical in the messier case). There's probably a faster way though...
