Admittedly it is a nice model . . . But I expected something that looked more awesome. Maybe it's just the parts of the sprue they picked . . . Or maybe it's that I'm not a massive fan of Dreadnoughts . . . Essentially this can stay on the shelf and not in my army =D

Would like to see the sprues though . . . They always seem to sway me *evils*

It looks awesome in my opinion, I really like the head piece being swappable with other marines heads. But it's still as cool as most FW Dreads.

You can see the sprues right on the GW site. You just have to click on the pictures and then zoom in.

There is a plasma cannon in the kit, 100% fact. I saw the "Black Box" today.

you can change like everything on this beast, i like it and will pick one up when its out, the arm had a plasma cannon and a "power fist" so you can make it bjorn of sw's with little conversion, and it has an auto cannon and las cannon, with different hands different plates not sure about the head though :\ but everything else is awesome, i happen to hate the fw ones just because of the feel on the damn things lol, these look like dreadnaught feet, not some three toed thing, definitely prefer this over fw's.

Why do some people call it an 'anime' styled powerfist? Ive seen this comment repeated on other boards. It looks just like a regular powerfist on a Marine, just bigger. Does that make their powerfists anime styled too?

Im gonna pick one up for my Space Wolves in any case, so I can run a Bjorn or Ven Dred with AssCannon or Plasma Cannon whenever I feel like it (and thankfully it has enough bits to make both, so I can swap them out whenever I feel like). From the looks of things, the arm joins are a snug fit too, so no magnetizing or anything fancy will be required.

The fist actually looks like it could hold something..

Lots of chaos comments. I think it's kind of sad that they've got four different plastic SM dreads (Black Reach, Normal, Ven, Ironclad), and still haven't released a plastic chaos dread.

Chaos has defilers, so i guess its a fair trade. i had a lot of fun putting that together.

this dred just screams chaos to me for some reason. i think its the head.... yes, the head.

He did get Auto cannon and Assault Cannon mixed up.

It comes with an Assault Cannon, not an Auto Cannon.

Slap some sentinal legs on the Interceptor Quad-gun and you'll have a wonky looking 'rifleman' dread .

IMO, it looks nice, but...stupid at the same time.

I'm pretty sure he is just comparing it to the old, highly intricate metal Ven Dread model, but you are right.

Just found out that there is actually three head options and three different sarcophagus fronts

It's a pity the MkIV is so prone to possession...

A plasma cannon in plastic FTW

Truth be told if you buy a normal dred and a Ven you can make 2 Vens with all the components it comes with. and i like the Lascannon(its all pretty and detailed)

Not really seeing the cartoon look your talking about. Sorry, have to disagree, I think it looks pretty cool.

I'm not a huge fan of the head and the power fist thingy on this one, but on the whole, I like the model. The old one was kind of neat, but it was also fairly over the top in terms of bling. This one seems to be a little tamer for lack of a better term. Even with the two things I'm not wild on, I'm thinking it should be pretty easy to switch out the head and the fist and the model certainly comes with lots of options.

Head-wise it should be easy enough to cut-down a regular Terminator head like you would if making Grey Knights.
