I have a lot of extra backpacks for those, if you need them, I can supply (at least for this squad).

There is a lot of red in this blog! Glad it's still moving along at pace and you have your flying machine. Not sure if you ever decided what codex to use but I would go with whatever feels right at that moment. Although what you described earlier in the blog regarding the blood angel list sounded a very entertaining army to play and see on the table.

There are many ends to my talents unfortunately. Something I intend to remedy before my short stay on this earth is up however

I think I'll play test the two different army lists but if I want to use the Baal predator and the Stormravens then it might have to be the Blood Angels list!

Almost finished Cadmus, I just need to base him and touch up the yellow trim!

Still can't decide about the Ammo counter, it didn't really come out as I expected what do you guys think?

Right made some Scouts today, still got another five with sniper rifles to make.

I also finished off Captain Cadmus so here are the photos;

I'm not entirely convinced with his head and I might do a bit more to it.

I have also started some more shoulder pad trims but it's not really worth any photos. Playing poker tomorrow night so might not have any further updates till Saturday!

Lookin' fine RM. I always struggle with heads... while mine turn out good, they never live up to what I think they should look like in my mind. I always end up feeling like a dog chasing it's tail.

Mainly it is the scars on the top of his head they just look a bit dark and the same problem with the service studs.

Ok a bit more work today, I have added the base coat of yellow on my high collar tactical squad and I have started the undercoat for the chapter symbols;

I have also started doing the grey on the terminators and I have also added the chapter symbols on the right shoulders.

Thanks man! I'm starting to get a bit intimidated with all the models I have built, it's a lot of painting to do even to my army standard of painting!
It might be time for another whole army photo to show just how big this project has got!!

I'm enjoying it. I'm finding the hots of all these models interesting to see the order and the way that you choose to paint your models. Keep up the great work!

Well I had a bit of time this evening to do some more painting so I decided on a design for the small shields on the shoulders of my BR Terminators, all free hand! It was quite hard to decide what to put on there but this is what I ended up doing;

I'm hoping to finish these guys this week which will mean one more unit down!

Thanks Jack.

OK been up late tonight and done a bit more on the Terminators, I've done all the stone work ie. Crux Terminatus etc and added a highlight of Red Gore. A bit of dry brushing of the metal areas too though I'm not finished with them yet!

Here are the WIP pics;

I'll hopefully get them finished off and based on Thursday and complete another unit in the army. Then I think I'll move on to the high collar tactical squad!

Very nice work with your army. If you take a small dremel to the head of the AoBR captain you can completely remove the head and place a helmet, just make sure to dry fit.

Navy SWCC in training.

Your eyes are weary from staring at the screen. You feel sleepy. Notice how restful it is to watch the cursor blink. Close your eyes. The opinions stated above are yours. You cannot imagine why you ever felt otherwise.

Thanks for the compliment, I have decided to keep the normal head as I can't find a spare Terminator Helmet.

I have an update, I know it has been a bit quiet on this thread for a while, I was on holiday and couldn't get down to any painting!
Well I did a bit more on the Black Reach Terminators, I still have some finishing touches to do like lenses, finishing off bases, flesh on the serg's head and the power weapon etc. but I am almost there!
Anyway here are some pics for you guys to check out and ofcourse make some suggestions too if you want!

Oh and I also need to do the weathering! Don't want them looking too shiny and new!

Well I'll hopefully have another update for you this week, thanks for all the comments and words of support!

Ok got to do some more finishing off tonight with the BR termies! I just need to do the weathering now but I'll probably wait and do that for the whole army all at once!
I'm not entirely convinced with the Serg's power sword but it will certainly do for now! Anyway here are the pics which is what everyone always wants to see!

How are you doing their bases? I'm thinking about going for an 'Urban' style as well and yours seem to be coming out really nicely.

I'm using the Resin basing kits from GW Mostly it is the small slate with some of the feature pieces and larger slate pieces. First paint them Chaos Black then dry brush Codex Grey and a top dry brush of Skull white. After you have done all that then pick out the detailed sections on the basing kits. Simples!
