You know there's no rule that says you must only post about GW stuff here, right? Hell, if there was, I'd have been banned long ago!

I love the Reaper guy though. I've been meaning to pick one up one day. The emblem on his chest could do with being picked out a bit more though, IMO.

Thank's Augustus... that's my best work to date and was a real labor of love.

... though.... I'm workin' on an Iron Clad at the moment that has real potential too. We'll see how it shakes out over the next few days.

Awesome! Yellow is such a hard color to do, everyone knows!

Depends on how you do it. Painting in many thin layers with yellow is actually easier than with as lot of other colors. And the airbrush (which I just started using so my figures above were not airbrushed), is the great leveler.

Thanks Dreadnote, hopefully this works

Here's my first ever use of greenstuff. I used a Space Hulk Librarian. Just a simple conversion with the base and the added storm shield+book instead of the storm bolter.

I'm not the best painter but these are some of my favourites

These are the Kindred from Hasslefree. Lovely models and a nice simple colour scheme. I feel these look great and were fun to paint.

I really like the strength and power of this model. I'm happy with the subtle conversion which didn't lose the power of the Avatars of War Beastlord. Paint jobs not the best but its passable on the table top.
The Nefarius Clone is one of those models I defy anybody to dislike a Rackham piece from when they were on top of their game. I'm delighted I've worked out I can use it as a Penitent Engine.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Its not the Limited Edition one - wish I had one though

The army wasnt built all at once - its been on-going since 2003 though. There's another 20 terminators, 3 attack bikes, thunderfire cannon, forgeworld rhino and 3 more dreads on the work-bench that arent in the picture.

Its 5th Company by the way.

I've been going through the galleries, so much great stuff!

I'm going to add another of my favorites. This is my Redemptionist Cult from Necromunda. It's not completely finished and it saw only a few games before I moved out of the area I was living in at the time. I've never found anyone to start up another game with (although that might change if I lean on my current gaming group enough... ha).

Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

Amazing job, however I can't stop myself from thinking that the reason he is running is because the disc is powered by spinning it, kind of like the scenes from old tom & jerry cartoons where Jerry is running on a spinning record player...

Anyway, here is my contribution, last paint-job I'm truly proud of (to be fair, haven't painted anything since last june-ish )
