"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001
I'm more excited about this than I have been for nearly any other Marvel movie.
I freaking love the Hulk.

And some, I assume, are good people."
Super Hero films are so good at the moment - Wonder Woman was a joy to watch, Justice League looks good and Thor as well.

Ought to be interesting seeing an action-buddy comedy movie between the Hulk and Thor.
"By this point I'm convinced 100% that every single race in the 40k universe have somehow tapped into the ork ability to just have their tech work because they think it should."
This trailer gives us a better idea of what the plot is going to involve, but I think the first one is my favorite of the two. In any case, I expect I'll be in the theater some time opening weekend for this.
Emperor's Eagles (undergoing Chapter reorganization)
Caledonian 95th (undergoing regimental reorganization)
Thousands Sons (undergoing Warband re--- wait, are any of my 40K armies playable?)
Though given Thanos is in love with Death (at least in the comics), dare we hope Hela isn't a mere 'one and done' villain, given she's a Goddess of Death?
Fed up of Scalpers? But still want your Exclusives? Why not join us?
With regard to possible plot spoiling in the trailers, don't forget Marvel and indeed Disney are getting quite good at curve balls.
I know some are irked when a trailered scene isn't in the final cut - but consider what they're doing there.
Cast your mind back to the first trailer for Avengers Assemble. We get to see Tony and Steve bickering - the whole 'take away the suit and what are you?' bit. Now that scene is in the film. But in the trailer is was portrayed as friendly banter - and Thor's guffaw was from a slightly different bit of the same scene.
I appreciate that curveball, and it made me sit up and pay attention going forward.

IIRC Thors chuckle wasn't in it at all, and Starks attitude when he said 'genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist' went from confused and condescending in the trailer to being stated more matter of factly and kind of hostile in the film. That whole scene seems to have gone through a reshoot.

Maybe?
But then I wouldn't be surprised at all if they just don't do the "THANOS HEARTS DEATH" angle for the movie.
He's coming to Earth because he wants the Infinity Stones/Gems/WhateverThey'reCalledNow - and there's a bunch of them there.
Not sure if they *need* to use anything other than that?
"Loving Death" is, perhaps, a bit much for an MCU movie...

One of the best lines of dialogue in the trailer for Thor: Ragnarok is when Thor sees the Hulk smash through the doors of the gladiator arena and he looks up at Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster and calls Hulk a "friend from work."
That line of dialogue wasn't in the original script but it sure did get a ton of laughs from the fans. We already reported that 80% of the movie was improvised, but this line actually has a very cool and touching origin. Chris Hemsworth revealed that origin in an interview with Entertainment Weekly saying:
“We had a young kid, a Make-A-Wish kid on set that day. He goes, ‘You know, you should say, ‘He’s a friend from work!’”
And they ended up using it! How awesome in that!? That kid has got to be so stoked that they actually used his suggestion in the movie. It's such a funny line that works so perfectly in the scene. I love that the line came from a young Marvel fan.
fair play.
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
"the play's the thing wherein I'll catch the conscience of the king,
Yeah, I've been reading, "it's the (one of) the funniest marvel movies." But some people have also been adding that this can cause a bit of weirdness in the third act. Cause it is like... Ragnarok... Which should be a kinda serious thing.
