Thules chest looks sort of funny, needs an aquila or a Blood Ravens symbol?
I know it didn't exist when you ordered your dreadnought from forge world but I feel the raven gaurd model would make a better blood raven.
Buy that and paint it up, chop chop.
The terminators are great, the shoulders and unique symbol on their backs are sweet. But the shields are just too big and strange for me.

Oh and the manowar lyrics made me smile.

Funny you should say that Astelan, I have already ordered the Raven guard model.

And yeah, the chest annoys me too...but there used to be a huge Ultra marines symbol there. And I'm not very good with greenstuff.
It was also my first time assembling resin, I am hopin g to do a better job with the Ravenguard dreadnaught

Yep, a tooth pick.

I cut down the helmet with a modelling knife until it fit inside.
You can't see the bottom half of the helmet, so there's no need to keep what you can't see anyway.

And its just one of the old Veteran Sgt Models.

Looks good. Are you putting anything on the spot where the Ultra logo used to be? Would look really good with a fist there

Those terminators are really well painted but they look too clean for my liking. If they'd seen that much action they would have a bit of damage on their armour.

When I first started painting 40k figures I spent an INSANE amount of time reading painting and modelling articles so that when I went to paint my figures I'd have a good idea of how to paint them, they ended up turning out very well, just as yours do. So tell me, if these are your first models where did you learn how to paint them so well? I'm very curious because these look absolutely AMAZING!

I think the phrase: "Holy gak that's awesome!" sums up this thread.

I especially love your Chapter Master and his honor guard.

Have you thought of perhaps buying the Raven Guard venerable dreadnought? I think that would make an awesome Blood Raven dread.

I don't like painting battle damage on my blood ravens.

it's not the look I am going for with them.

That crimson fist guy looks great. For a WIP he looks awesome, the only thing I can spot is that the gold looks a little flat.

Its a totally different style to yours and just goes to show the differences you can make with paint. I'm impressed with how you removed the Ultramarine Icons from yours too.

I MAY recently have bought 7 boxes of Sanguinary guard, 1 box of death company, Lord Dante and the angel special character

Expect gold and wings coming your way, soon!

I intend to use the death company bodies and wings from the 7th box to make sanguinary priests.

Does anyone have any ideas where to get chaices from, maybe a 3rd party site? Does anyone have any idea how to convert up the apothcary arm?
All the bits sites have apothcary parts either sold out or waaaaaaaaaaay over priced.

i really dig your bases, where did you get them from? or did you just make it yourself?

oh and, i know its a tad late but with the venerable dreadnought, i thought you would of painted the eagle across the chest white (like the eagles on the chest for the terminators, SM etc).. i think it would look better imo
