Seriously, that dark angel fortress IS totally brillant. Imanage some of the crazy addons people will make with it? perhaps a much larger version with 4 of the dark angel fortress kits comprising as the walls?
Landing pad is sexy. Gunna have to get me one of those with my vendetta for some dropship action! Shame about the no plastic stormtroops.. but really, if your've seen the new IG codex they are utterly gak for their price. Shame too, because if they were a effective unit i would had gotten cadian variants with a valk.

I will be getting a ROB board soon, I need something compact and also easy to set up since I live in a condo and even though it's pricey it seems like the best option for me. But I'd love to know more about those sets that say they come with a game board. I emailed GW and asked they said they have no info on it yet :( I'm guessing it's just a ROB + new buildings in a package deal.. but no way to know for sure so I dunno if I should get the ROB now or just wait...

is there any way of knowing exactly what products are going up? or is it just going to be everything across the board? if the ROB goes up like $20 I won't care but if it's around $100+ then I'll have to get it now, not gonna buy it if it goes up that much. But I'm more wondering if it's just gonna be the regular ROB board in those kits, or if it's a new one.. or new tiles.. or something like that..?
I had my hopes up for a Thunderhawk and Stormtroopers coming out soonish. Oh well that's been shot down now.
The Shrine of the Aquila is interesting - this really is wishlisting but could it be that huge cathedral seen in the Apocalypse (being defended by the BA) and Planetstrike book (pics somewhere on warseer)?

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.
The landing pad and the defence lines would be great for necromunda, the bastion is to closed in for my taste in necromunda though.

Looking at the advance orders at the GW site I was reading about that skyshield landing pad, in the description...

I don't remember GW ever talking about the Thunderhawk in their sales material, like item descriptions. Maybe I'm reading too much into it and am just hopeful, but does it seem odd to anyone else that they went out of their way to specifically mention the Thawk?
This is the stuff. It looks like the scenery for WFB. A castle and a couple of fancy houses.
In this case, though, you get a trenchline, a small fort, and some other s.... stuff.
I have an Armorcast trenchline, massive amounts of scenery, and plenty of this stuff to go around.
Along with the price increase, I'm looking more at Dark Herasy, or I munda then just buying overexpensive stuff just to keep up with the Jones's
I make stuff like this all the time. Just because GW thinks its clever to put it out in plastic doens't invalidate massive amounts of styro sheets, cardboard, and bits.
Remember, terraign is part of the game. You and your club can kitbash a few boxes of scenery out of scrap and bits more then just caving in and blowing massive amounts of cash on overpriced gak.
Two or three tools here have bought the battleboard. I'll still be laughing at them when I pull out my 4X4 painted and based boards, my scenery, and my own build stuff then playing on thier nonpainted half built gak, any day of the week.
Where are the rules people are going to really be interested in now, the skirmish and small unit tactical game?
